Fitting and wheel-alignment

Fitting and wheel alignment is available and costs depend on which fitting partner you choose.
You can do the fitting partner selection depending on your preference (mobile, closest, cheapest).
We try to give the customer the choice of different fitting options in their postcode area. Some might be mobile fitting, others a bit further away and local, but cheaper than mobile. Every fitting partner has their own pricing for fitting and alignment, which gives the customer the flexibility to choose based on their preference.

Shipping

We do have a lot of free shipping options, however there can be sometimes a shipping fee involved as well, which is dependent on where the tyre is shipped from (e.g. if the tyre needs to be shipped from interstate to the customers postcode area). That's where sometimes shipping fees apply, which can be different for any tyre and/or size.

Tyre Prices

We partner with many suppliers around Australia, which is why we have access to a lot of stock (at different prices).
If a stock batch is sold with one supplier, a new batch of another supplier might come online at a different price, which can happen at any time.
So be quick and secure your stock at the cheapest price!

  • Hi, what is the expiry time for the SCA gift card?

  • how does Up to $150 cashback work? is that through normal Shopback or Cashrewards?

    • it gets discounted during checkout

  • Soo $108 for 4 tyres? How does that work?

    • The cheapest Michelin tyre we currently have is $102 per tyre.
      https://tyres.supercheapauto.com.au/v1/tyre/michelin/nsw/?s=…

The deal is only valid when you buy at least 4 tyres (min. $408 for 4 tyres) of any Michelin or BFGoodrich tyres.

However, this is just the cheapest Michelin tyre we have listed, it might not be the model/size you are looking for.

  • Mines 360 a tyre so I'm out

    • Which tyre are you looking at? All Michelin and BFGoodrich tyres qualify for the $150 e-gift card, as long as you buy 4 of them. This is independent from whether there is an additional deal on Michelin or BFGoodrich tyres as outlined above or not.

So what is the point of having Supercheap branding if you do not accept their gift cards and just going to tyroola directly. 🤦‍♂️

    • And more to the point… why is the deal listed as "via supercheap" when it is NOT. I can't go to supercheap and pick up the tyres, or have them fitted there.
It's a tyroola deal including tyroola delivery…. that offers a supercheap gift card as part of the deal.

      Bollocks ozbargain listing.

      • "Supercheap Auto Services is a joint business initiative of Tyroola Pty Ltd A.C.N 169 178 116 and Supercheap Auto Pty Ltd A.C.N 085 395 124."

Appears they've made an arrangement where Tyroola discounts a set of tyres by $150 and SCA gives you a bonus $150 SCA GC. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

The deal should state that these are not fitted prices and don't include delivery but there's only so much you can put into a title.
        Eg:

Up to $150 off + $150 SCA Gift Card on 4 Selected Michelin & BFGoodrich Tyres (from $408 for 4, from $0 Del Plus Fitting and Delivery) @ Tyroola via SCA

        .

        • That's correct, thx for your input. We will make this relationship more clear the next time.
This is why it is actually a Supercheap Auto deal and not a Tyroola deal. This deal is also included in Supercheap Auto's most recent catalog:
          https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/read-catalogue#view=catalo…

Further to that, you can actually walk into any SCA store in Australia and purchase tyres in-store over the counter (and use any gift card you might have).
They will then either be shipped to the store, a fitting station near the store or to the customers custom address (shipping fees may apply).

      • What ! You can't work that out yourself ?

  • Sad.. Nothing for 205/50/16. 😭

  • Can we get a deal on Dragon sports one day soon?

    • +1

Nothing we can promise unfortunately, but we will see what we can do in our coming monthly deals. Always good to get this sort of feedback from customers!

  • I’m looking to buy Michelin Primacy 4 PLUS Tyres XL 215/35/r17 for my Honda civic on tyroola

I’m not too sure what XL stands for, found on on google XL means extra load , are these extra load Tyres suitable for small car like civic ? Or they’re for larger cars ? Looks like these Tyres consume more fuels ?
Need a expert advice please thank you

  • 35?
What sizes are recommended for your model Civic? Seems 215/50R17 was a standard. Anything bigger may or may not cause problems.

Michelin tyres are generally very good. Have you read their website to see what they say about that model tyre?
Any extra weight may be offset by other tyre qualities and on such a small tyre will be insignificant wrt fuel consumption with normal driving.

    • Sorry , you’re right its 215/50/R17 , I’m trying to order Michelin primacy 4 plus , I have read their website couldn’t find any information about XL , I’m currently using hankook

    • That’s what I found online

      Disadvantages of XL Tires
While these advantages are useful, there are a few considerations to keep in mind when fitting XL tires.

Driving with XL tires can lead to an uncomfortable driving experience due to increased noise
XL tires cause higher fuel consumption due to rolling resistance and reinforcement

      • If you're worried give Tyroola or Michelin Au a ring.

Reinforced tyres of your size will be slighty heavier (maybe 1+kg a tyre at a guess) but as I said that's unlikely to make any significant difference to your fuel consumption - certainly far less than other factors such as traffic, weather, how you drive, the fuel you use, whether your car is in good tune, whether you carry passengers etc.

The reason for "XL" (or equivalent labels) is to allow you to carry more weight over your axles (the tyre load index increases), although in the case of a Civic I doubt there is any practical advantage. Your Primacy 4 Plus XL appears to have a load index of 95, or 690kg per wheel (ie 1380kg per axle) which is about double the weight of the vehicle ???

That tyre will likely have slightly thicker/stronger sidewalls - good if you happen to run up a gutter or hit a large pothole. The tyre may also feel slightly stiffer on rough roads but that can be offset by running slightly lower pressures.

All tyre choices are compromises between performance, life expectancy, price

Thank you so much for the useful information , I’m currently using hankook 215/35/17 95w without the the XL label , I’m not very knowledgeable about cars , I guess as long as they’re same size Tyres , they don’t make much difference
