Can agree with this - worthless, just bought a mono-lazer printer and will figure out the rest.
i would recommened no one buy these
absolutely shitty fiddly cart management, cant print out shit for fear of running out and terrible reliability, nozzle check, cart aligns all waste ink
replaced mine with a Brother laser and even an expensive HP Laserjet Pro is better…
the Epson does scan ok but who gives a shit about that

Epsons have been doing the ink waste thing for years. Having the print heads in the printer also means many more nozzle check & cleaning than is required.
To do a single print often means 2 or 3 cleans, and not just the 1 colour that's clogged. It cleans all them, and then you find another colour is clogged.
If I didn't have so many carts, I'd get something else.
Not aware of any issues with my WF-3640. Done everything fine.
WF-4830 here… All your ridiculous price ink go to the ink waste tank the moment you turn it on, you need to buy all colors ink and also the stupid ink waste tank before it can "print"….
Not sure why everyone has such bad impressive of this. I have one and it works wonders. The Mac and iPhone (AirPrint) compatibility is amazing
Unless you use it everyday otherwise the ink dries out too quickly that the printer needs to dump the first bit of ink first before it can start printing. Expensive running costs!
No matter how great airprint feature is ink wastage is still a big no no.
Not to mention a set of knock off ink from ebay will set you back roughly $60

To make it worse, more than half of those go to ink waste tank.
Ive had a WF-3540 for years now but I would never recommend anyone waste their money on a printer like this, they just never work nicely.
Every epson printer ive had has been junk.
Their ink cost more than France made perfume per ml.
Have one - absolute rubbish. Pisses away ink every time you switch it on, it does a nozzle check
