Just got email from COTD… seems decent deal.

  Seems like a OK deal, but not really a bargain. Centrecom has it for $649 with a bonus 4GB ram

    Yeah but u gotta add an extra $19.80 for Delivery from Centrecom and you missed out that COTD are giving you a FREE Laptop Bag.

    So your paying an extra $59 for 4GB's … if i look on statice ice.. 4GB'a of ram will set you back $24.50 dollars.. you take your 24.50 and you save an extra 50c somewhere else you make 1 extra Dollar!! you take that dollar to the dollar store and your buy something else…be a man!

        Classic reference.

        But for those near a Centrecom its a much better deal IMO. Others will also argue that "It's COTD".
        And honestly, $59 isn't a massive saving even with a bag rather than 4GB. Good for some, but not the greatest deal I've seen on here.

  and to think i payed $700 a couple of weeks ago for this laptop delivered. It was a good deal then and these posts are a good deal again for this laptop. The 640m graphics card just makes it.

    yep you could see those two deals as being about the same in price if you were to throw in another 4gb of ram for around ~$25 into this deals laptop, but if you plan not to then i guess this is the cheaper deal "technically" as for for the bag Meh

    hey i hate cotd but how do you qualify this as not a bargain
    the 640m is better then the 6770m
    a lot of expensive laptops have 540m or lame ati cards

  I was tossing up buying from COTD or OnlineComputer. As mentioned above, basically the same deal/price when you take the extra RAM into account. I ended up buying from OnlineComputer, simply because the delivery is SO much quicker. 2-4 days as opposed to 2 weeks (as with my last order from COTD).
  Seems like a great deal from the specs (GPU, RAM, HDD), just hope ACER brand doesnt let me down… i have heard mixed reports :)
