This practical diver’s watch with sapphire glass is conveniently solar-powered; the watch charges from both natural and electric light. Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications’. These timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable within extreme or everyday environments, for experts, sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.

The Seiko SNE591 features the Seiko Solar Quartz V157 movement with an approximate time tolerance of +/- 15 seconds a month and has a 10 month power reserve once the watch is fully charged. This Stainless Steel watch has a case size of 42.8mm and thickness of 10.7mm with an approximate weight of 170gm with a lug width of 20mm and uses Sapphire Crystal. The bracelet has a three-fold clasp with secure lock and a push button release with an extender. The hands, indexes and bezel feature lumibrite for a glow in the dark effect.

      What's the problem with that ? You'll still get ten plus years out of it before the cell needs changing , pretty good for the money /accuracy.

      You have a phone for accuracy.

      Mechanical watches are a thing of marvel and artistry; a tiny device, powered by your movements, relying on springs and coils to accurately track the day's 86400 seconds to within a few seconds per day.

      A diver like this with a quartz movement, solar or otherwise, is just a missed opportunity.

      Just my opinion of course.
