    Only is is a Class E (electrical) fire.

    They have limited use on Class A (flammable materials) and B (flammable liquids) fires and are of no use/should not be used on Class F (cooking fat) fires.

        No it isnt, not reliably

        As I said CO2 is only useful on a Class E (electrical) fire.
        They have limited use on Class A (flammable materials) and B (flammable liquids) fires and are of no use/should not be used on Class F (cooking fat) fires.

          @spaceflight: I know what they’re rated for. CO2 works regardless.

          Obviously others are more effective, but they also damage whatever they hit.

    Almost nothing actually stops a lithium battery. It's become a technique to put EV's in containers full of water because of it.

    It'll burn until it's done reacting with air. If you put it out, it'll re-ignite.
