The woollies half off is better value

    • +11

Quality of the Costco ones are far superior than the Woolies ones

Not as good as the ones at the Coles Local though. I think they are Laurent.

        • Might depend on location but the Coles Local stores around Brisbane sell King St. Bakery ones… But they are $4.50 each

          • @brandogs:

            But they are $4.50 each

I buy them for $1.60 each at the end of the day when marked down.

        • agreed on the Coles ones. The 12 croissants for $10 packs are better IMO to Costco ones, end up less flakey and not as hard after going through the air fryer

Worked with a French guy. Said Costco croissants were the closest he could find to the stuff back home.

        • They're imported from France.

    • +3

      Perhaps cost wise.

However, in my opinion the Costco croissant is far superior so I’m willing to pay more.

      • My Vizsla is obsessed with Costco croissants 😁

    What are all the ingredients?

    • It’s commercial secret.

      Relevance?

      • To make purchasing decision.

        What business of yours?

  • All butter…

    • -1

      French butter.

      • If it's real butter that's fine, but most wholesales would use the artificial one which is a big bomb for your health.

  • +1

I like heating it up on low in the air fryer oven for a few minutes. Makes it crispy on the outside but still soft and fluffy on the inside.

    • +2

I bulk buy these and freeze them, straight outta the freezer and into the airfryer 3 minutes at 180 and it comes out perfect.

Darn I need my nuts to go on sale!

    • How do costco nuts compare to aldi and colesworth?

      • +1

Cheaper and better quality but you have to buy them in bulk, as usual

  • More expensive but these frozen ones from coles are significantly better

I cant recomend these enough, they have a perm spot in my freezer.

  • Don't forget to pick out an extra large coffin if your buying these!

    • This person shouldn't be negged, there are excellent deals on coffins and caskets at Costco

      • I bought one for the mother in law's birthday coming up…

  • I’ve got my Lune Croissant book. Probably wouldn’t do the 26 step process to make croissants but it might be interesting to buy the Costco croissants and make the fillings.
