Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the awesome support! You guys have been absolute legends :)

Just letting you know we have sold out of the Matrexx 55 V3 cases.

We have replaced the option with the Matrexx 50 case. The only difference is the entire front is tempered glass and there is no RGB strip on the front panel (i.e aesthetics only).

There has been no change is price (we bought the Matrexx 55s at a great price. The Matrexx 50s cost us a bit more despite them retailing for less).

The Matrexx 55 Mesh is still available.

IMPORTANT!!! - Sadly, we won't be posting tomorrow as we have hit our post limit for the week. We'll instead post on Friday. Expect a 40 series and a Corsair 4000D Airflow case…

Every Monday we'll be coming in with some cheap as chips specials. These will be followed up by a more premium build every Thursday. We'll see how that goes and adjust based on users preferences. If any of you have any suggestions on future builds, please let us know in the comments. Upvote your favourites and we'll do our best to accommodate.

CURRENT DISPATCH TIMES: 3-5 business days.

thanks for coming back after the roasting, better deal

    • +22

Thanks! We’ll see how we go :)

      • Waiting on your Thursday build - interested to see what you have on offer

        • +1

We will be posting the build on Friday. We have hit our post limit for this week

          • +1

@enigmapc: you nearly there? hanging out to see :)

            • +1

@Pugtato: Hahah mate we are close!! 3:44pm is when our limit is lifted. I can guarantee it’ll be the cheapest of its specs out there currently, whilst being a very cool build :)

  • +2

    Not too shabby now!

When you choose an additional option such as an SSD, there's no way to unselect it without refreshing the page.

    • +6

Cheers! Thanks for the heads up. I’ll take a look at the app I’m using for it. Was a bit of a rush job on the options feature lol

  • Kudos for coming back with improvements

  • Wow better than techfast!

  • +1

Two thumbs up for coming to the Ozbargain party!

  • +5

Nice deal, good stuff with taking on board OzBargainers suggestions.
There has been a lack of budget builds so maybe consider that for future too. Similar to any on here as I know they sold out fast - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/752266
Look forward to seeing what you bring.

    • +2

Those are some interesting ones. Definitely something we can look at doing.

  • +2

Techfast selling essentially the same thing but with 3070ti for $1428. If you want maximum performance and don’t care about quality components, not saying they are bad, go with them. Otherwise if you want to know what parts you are actually getting, this is a great option!

    • +12

people commenting on recent techfast deals are still waiting for a month to builds to be shipped, something to keep in consideration

      • +2

Nothing new. I ordered years ago through them when you couldn't get RTX 3xx on their own and it went a few weeks past the promised dispatch date. They admitted in email that the OzBargain advertised dates are irrelevant and a marketing ploy.

    • +1

Also best to ask for unbuilt so you can keep all the boxes and original packaging to sell parts

      • +2

You should be getting all the component boxes regardless imho

    • +7

Going to disagree on ever recommending techfast. The only purpose that company serves is to make the industry competitive. As a company their ethics are questionable.
Would much rather buy from this company. They have shown initiative and good representation only from one post.so kudos to them

      • TechFast days are over imo

        • Partly because the parts they use are less cheap now. Used to be heaps of Biostar motherboards and the like. Now bigger brands like Asus.

  • +6

Good to see the roasting never put you off & that you are also listening to positive feedback & have come back with a better deal… 1 UPVOTE from me …
    Keep up the good work…

    • +9

      We’ll do our best!

  • Thursday Suggestion: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/ZGxcCJ
    Something like this ^

    • Nice build. We’ll see what we can do!

  • +1

Good to see you bounce back. This is a cracker of a comeback deal. Keep up the good work and you'll have a home here.

  • +1

Is 650W PSU enough? I read that 850W is recommended geforce 30 series

    • required system power according to Nvidia is 600W.

      https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/graphics-cards/compare/…

Although I learnt the hard way that it's good to go higher if you think you might upgrade in the future.

    • Definitely enough. i have a 3070 and 13600kf and still run perfectly ok on a sff 750.
This will be heaps for a more efficient GPU and CPU.

    • Gigabyte product page states 600w recommended:

      Gigabyte

I think provided you aren't running a thread ripper or i9 as well as this GPU, it will be fine. TDP stated at 200w.

  • -1

    Os?

  • +2

If this is the budget build……what is a high end build…….. speaking from a 1660S owner…….

  • Might want to add pickup location for those that live in nsw and for want to pay postage

    • Will do! Give me a few minutes :)

  • Glad to see a new NSW based prebuilt company competing, hopefully you will do better than momo and Titantec

  • can we pickup? are you the shop in Dural?

    • Yes you can!

  • -1

    Well balanced one

  • +1

Sorry guys, we had an issue with the builder. Fixed it all now. Instead discount will be applied on checkout.

    • +13

      Transparency? Thats just being rude.

        • +2

Do you ask this question anytime you buy anything? Cmon.

        • +7

Because there are many factors to their margin that have no real bearing on you as a consumer. You don't need their margin to compare with other vendors.

Disclosing a small business margin could be advantageous to a competitor for instance.

What makes up what they earn could be (and likely is) effectively zero given we know the margin on parts is razor thin, plus staff costs, store/lease costs, utilities, pre-sales and post-sales customer support etc.

It could also be a deliberate loss leader for marketing purposes they may not want to disclose to their competitors either.

It's fairly naive asking a small business to be "transparent" about what they make. As a consumer, their costs shouldn't necessarily matter (to a point), and you should shop on whether it's a good price comparitively in the market.

          • @aleayr: That's a fair point. True disclosing their margin could be advantageous to their competitors. They don't have to disclose it but it is interesting to know and discuss among ozbargainers.

        • +3

Similar question, may I know your salary?

          • +1

            @sicaboy: 56k!

            • +6

@OzBargainer4Eva: Technically you also need to provide your full name/employer name and your job title for a comparable level of transparency;-)

    • +1

wow! You must be one of those who ask to see the goods before committing to a date.

  • Can you do something similar to
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/755710
But with better cpu, mobo and cooling options?

  • +1

Not sure if it's just me but site seems cooked.

Only PSU option available is the InWin 750W Gold, is that intentional?

When adding to cart it says product incomplete, select case/cooling/wifi/warranty. After choosing options there it still does the same.

    Reset doesn't fix it either.

    • +1

Check in on this an it’s a weird caching error. Sorted now.

  • +2

Might wanna also consider adding an option to remove the HDD,I suspect a lot of people already have an NVME drive and one that is larger than 500gb. Make it opt out though and the user has to acknowledge they know what they are doing.

Decent way to save money for both business and user

  • Good price for a new build, just FYI second hand 3060ti around $400 on ebay, so saving of $300 if you dont mind.

  • for anyone buying note that the panel on the front of the case heavily restricts airflow.

    • +7

Noted. We've added the DeepCool Matrexx 55 Mesh as well as an option. Will be live shortly.

  • +3

How are you even making money on this?
You must be getting parts dirt cheap being a Retailer..

  • Hello,

Does this come with windows installed and some sort of wifi card? Or would I need to buy a seperate wifi card

    • +1

Comes with unactivated Win11 Home or Pro (you can choose).

There's no wifi, but you can add a decent wifi PCIE card for an extra $79.

      • Hello Grish,

        Thanks for the reply!

I'm not very tech savvy but does a wifi PCIE card sit on the inside of the machine?

I know there are wifi adaptors that are like little antennas that attach onto the outside

        • +1

The one we sell as an option sits on the inside above the graphics card on this PC.

        • +2

Yes PCIE is an add on slot inside the computer (on the motherboard) but the antennas are installed on the outside/rear of the machine.

There are also cheap wifi USB dongles, but they are generally junk compared to a PCIe card.

    • +1

Hi there, as Grish said it comes with inactivated Windows 11 Home/Pro (inactivated). You can option the activated versions and can also upgrade to Wi-Fi & Bluetooth.

  • +1

Great build. Looking forward to Thursday.

  • Looking forward to a am5 with 4080 or 4090 build.

  • Very tempted to pull the trigger on this one.
Currently don't have a PC, and I don't intend to upgrade parts unless I really have to. I'm not an intensive gamer. TBH mostly doing this to let the missus play Hogwarts Legacy

Does anyone recommend upgrades beyond the original offer? Thanks!

    • +1

if only gonna play on 1080p you'll be fine with this

      • +1

200 plus updoots, I ended up buying the rig - hopefully with the popularity we don't have lead times blown out too badly! Well done Enigma on the deal

  • +1

Is the GPU brand new or refurb? (no offence, but too many miner GPU back to the market, just to confirm)

    • +2

Were LHR GPUs ever even used for mining?

      It will be new.

      • LHR still has 50% of original hash rate if I remember correctly.

    • I didn't know they could potentially offer refurb parts in these pre-build pc :S

      Would be good to know.

    • +8

All parts in our builds are brand new. In future we can look at doing some refurb builds if we can get the parts from suppliers. Let us know if this is something that would interest you all.

      • +1

        Thanks for confirming.

      • Refurbs are good. People will complain loudly about potential ex mining cards, but when actual ex mining cards are posted here at the right price, they sell like hot cakes.

        • Yea, the right price rules. Look at the iPhone 12 mini deal last week, makes a 2.5-year-old dull of sale model so popular.

  • +1

Are you able to make an Intel all white build with the Lian Li O11 Dynamic case?

    • +1

Definitely something to have a look at. Any specs you're looking for? We can always build custom pc's too.

  • +1

Wow this is a great deal! Looking forward to seeing what you guys can whip together next.

  • Any chance of a small server type build? Something inexpensive in a small-ish case that can house 4-8 SATA drives? Doesn’t need super high end parts but it would blow the doors of a Dell/HP type device.

    • +1

We can definitely look at that. If you're after something specific though we can work with you to custom build one. Just let us know :)

  • +2

Feel like a few people would like to see a small form factor build. I'm hunting for something rtx 3080ish, smaller the better 🤣

  • +3

Hopefully you guys can do a premium build with a low end GPU card. I'm sure a lot of us have a decent card on a dated build we'd like to swap over.
    Something like a:

    i7-13700K / Ryzen 7 7700x (Or higher)
    Z/X Motherboard
    RTX3060Ti (Or lower)
    32GB
    1TB NVMe M.2
    850W+ Gold PSU

Obviously this could be wishful thinking and understand you guys need to make $$$ first and foremost.

    • +1

A nice productivity build with low end GPU card would be nice. Maybe with an i5-12600kf or i5-13600kf.

      • Hi Aus36,

Just responding to you here as we can't send you a DM and can't post on competitors posts.

All we can say is keep an eye out, some deals are incoming

    • +1

      Hey Shink0,

Drop us a message and we can quote you on this one!

  • Is the stock cooler on the CPU very loud?

    • No, the cooler isn't very loud.

  • We'll give the SFF builds a go soon. Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks for those ones…

  • +2

Congrats on the well received (and deserved) redemption post. 1500 clicks and 160+ likes, that's amazing. Rooting for you Enigma PC!

    • +1

Fancy seeing you here :). Thanks very much! We're hoping we don't get slaughtered on our premium build we're sorting for Thursday! Something will be coming in the Corsair 4000D Airflow!

  • Does the case contain RGB fans? How many of them in total?

    • Yeah it does. Comes with three rgb case fans and an extra DeepCool FC120 for the rear fan.

      • Sounds pretty good. Is there a need for top fans?

        • Not really on this one. The fans included should be good.

  • Yay a good custom built PC place I can actually pickup from and save the time and money!
