Normal price is around $699 give or take depending on the retailer. Should work out to be $531 if you can get an Officeworks price beat.
it is slightly better than the Dell, that said, having the Dell for a while I have no complaints at all.

I think the one you linked is not the $300 one. 300 gets you VA panel not IPS and maybe FHD unless heavily discounted.

Specs in terms of refresh rate, IPS panel, resolution, HDR, are the exact same
There was also a slightly less rated Acer 27" 1440p for a bit under $300 in the same period
LG is always a bit more expensive, nothing wrong with the Samsung if you can find it at a good price even the VA model is great for movies and games. Acer is not as good according to the reviews (check hardware unboxed youtube) for why some are better than others
if you dont care, buy cheapest with good warranty of course
