    • I have the 845 G9 and yes, it has USB 4.
So you can connect Thunderbolt 3 accessories, even an external GPU enclosure if you want (which may be of interest to @Purkulator).

    Lol nah,

    TOTAL after cashback $1,597.31

Cheddar cashback is finished but Cashrewards cashback is 12% atm. This one is a premium Ryzen laptop, excellent battery life and build quality, has 2 x USB 4 40gbps.

    • Not tech savvy but wouldn't mind a good laptop that can last me some time for light work and entertainment. Is this a laptop you would recommend or is it a bit overkill?

      • This is a massive overkill but a decent good laptop that will last you a while would be around $1400 min anyway. So for slightly more, you get some pretty damn good specs. It doesn't have a dGPU but the 680m is the best iGPU at the moment.

Have a look at some reviews on youtube.

        • Hmm I have similar thoughts…seems like a good deal for a laptop thats overkill for me. But a decent deal on a lower spec would probably be around 1-1.2k mark anyway? Not sure if worth waiting out that long either.
I think another popular deal with the HP Victus a while back

      • Depending on how big you want the screen, this is a brilliant 15" option if you're looking for something well built that has a better chance of lasting longer.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/757214

      • Completely overkill .. you can get brand new sub 1000 dollar laptops that will serve you well for the next few years or sub 500 laptops that are refurbished/used will do the same ..whenever you buy ..just check the RAM ..must be 16 gig and the storage must be at least 256 gig ..never mind the additional jargon about the type of RAM, processor, hard disk .. and stick to known brands ..that is all you need

Wow its a really good deal :D

Let me talk to the Boss and see if we can make another $100 OFF to compete!

      • 100 off?

        • Was $1699 with power bank, we made it $1599 :)

    • -1

That's only 13" screen, a totally different class of device - this particular deal is for a 16" screen.

If you're looking for a desktop replacement then an ultra portable probably isn't on your radar.

  • Today, we prepared a special HP business notebook model with a good price $1599 (FreeShipping) :) Hope you guys will like it!

I'm seeing shipping starting from $35 to Melbourne.

Is there a code we need to enter for the free shipping?

    • Oh Really let me check wait a second

    • Done! The freeshipping rule disabled by system for some reason, just reopened :)

      • Just tried doing a purchase of the 14" model and its suggesting a postage cost for it, can you re-enable the free-shipping rule again please?

  • $1499 and ill pull the trigger 🤪

    • same here

  • Terrible screen unfortunately, only 45% NSTC so only 55-65% sRGB

  • +1

@OP do you have model with 400nits display?

  • Would buy this in a heartbeat if it wasn’t equiped with a display straight out of 2011.
