  • Can you obtain the coupon code via the website also, if so how do you go about it either way (app/web)?

  • code doesn't work

  • Is coupon code only valid for 2021 model frame TV?

  • +1

Errrr how do I get a discount code? I just signed up but no signs of any code or discount

    • +1

Under the benefits tab in the app is where I was able to find the offers for the tv, there is also one for Samsung washer or dryer 35% off

  • 65" is $1,319.40 Before discount.

Does the code work on 65" for 50% off?

    • No

      • +5

        I just read through the T's + C's and you're correct. the 65" isn't a part of the deal. But the 55" is…

I'm on chat trying to secure a 55"… And they just hand-balled me onto their marketing team.

Samsung: Oh as per checking, this voucher code would not be compatible with the discount already applied on the website.
Save $879.6 off RRP for a limited time only. Hurry, offer ends 31.03.2023!T&Cs apply.

Me: In the terms and conditions, it clearly states that the 55" is a part of the deal. There is a link to click on.

Samsung: Oh we apologize but it seems not compatible with the available discount on the website. As we are not able to gain access to pricing or see status updates from the chat team I will need you to email our online support team, they have been helping other customers with this same issue. I can provide you with the email address.

you can grab a normal loyalty discount for that. just email [email protected] and say you're considering to get a Frame TV, ask if they can give you a discount - they can, and will give you a unique code for 30% off.

you can get one of those if you call them too - I never did that myself though, other people reported in comments to other recent deals.

note that in both cases you might need to give a serial number of your current Samsung TV. although I didn't have a Samsung TV and got my code fine via email route above.

brings the price for 65" to $928 which is about as much as I paid for mine a few weeks ago. super solid TV especially at this price. grab while you can.

2022 model is $2200 at retailers, and it's basically same TV, just different screen surface treatment. 2021 is semi-glossy, 2022 is matte. I have no problem with 2021 reflections. also makes viewing angles a bit better - 2022 a bit sucks in that regard

      • +1

@shabaka thanks for the suggestion, got the 65" with the extra discount code

        • +1

enjoy! it's a great TV. it is awesome to play Xbox Series X on it. 4k 120hz no issues! low input lag and quick response, all a gamer needs.

and footie season is coming! I'm fully set.

      • Hi, thank you for the info here regarding getting a discount code. I have emailed them and will wait for them to get back to me. Just wondering if you had a link to the 65" 2021 model that will be reduced to $928 that you are referring to? (Or @FlyingMiffy if you have the link you used?) I really want to get this for my parents as they love the Frame TVs and have been trying to save for one but they're so expensive at full price. I bought a Q60A last year and have been happy with it but paid $1800 for the 75". This seems to be a way better deal! Do you know whether I could get it in Brisbane or through third party retailers? Or does it have to be via a Samsung store. Many thanks for any assistance here friend.

  • I tried on web but there is no code available on my account ..

Is this Samsung app available in IOS?

Or by anychance anyone can share the voucher code as I am after a tv for my bedroom..?

    • it's in the samsung members app on my phone

  • Code doesn't work for me as well. Looks like an issue.

    • What code?

      • As mentioned in the post: "the coupon code is unique and can be obtained from the Samsung Members app."

  • This tv is good

  • +1

"This app is not available for your device". I guess you need a samsung galaxy phone?

    • you totally do. or a tablet. even a free A8 tablet that Optus was handing out for free a year ago

      • Only cost you a data leak.

  • +2

Out of stock already? I get "where to buy" instead of "add to cart"

  • +5

    For all my worthless NFTs

  • +4

43" doesn't have the Motion Rate 200 unlike the bigger sizes of this model.

    • +7

that's right. 43 and 50 don't support high refresh rates ir any of the advanced gaming features.

      only 55 and up.

that's why I don't think this is a worthy deal. grab 65 for $930 on a loyalty 30%off if you can instead. lucky it's back in stock again

      • +1

        Super cheap!

        • +1

Ikr, beats all those cheap big w brand TV deals.

  • +1

    Good as a monitor??

    • To monitor your premises - yes, it's snappy and brightens the CCTV closet.

  • Got the app, looked under Benefits/Vouchers, couldn't see anything.
    Is it a loyalty / points-earned voucher?

    • It's a banner to click on, white background.

      • hmmm clicked on the banner, it took me to vouchers page again, nothing there :/

        • There should be a 'Download code" button (Or similar)

        • Same for me.. Banner takes me to a blank benefits page in the app

  • +1

i have too many tv's, i guess i now have a tv for the guest bathroom.

    • Why?

      • Apparently they're filthy rich.

    SOUNDBARS 50% Off:

    HW-S61A

    HW-Q950A

    • Wow, would have gotten that soundbar at 50% off

      • it's only off rrp, so HW-Q950A is already cheaper at advertised price

  • Looks like the 43" is OOS?

edit: Back in stock, looks like stock is reserved when someone adds it to cart, abandoned carts are returned to stock eventually.

  • Using since 6 months, works great. Remote with usb c charge port and solar panel
    Works great with Apple airplay

But lag when using remote is pathetic… SW is up to date… Not sure if that can be fixed. I still have half memory left on my tv.

  • +1

One of my relatives has a bigger version and it looks good. But I was just wondering how much power it consumes considering that the screen is always on?

    • +1

FYI you can set it so it switches off when it's dark, when there's no motion detected, or you can also switch it off manually like a normal TV.

  • Goes to get code but app not compatible with Google pixel. Code pls anyone of being generous pm me.

  • Frames are sold separately. So it's extra you want a wooden Look border

  • +1

Snapped! Got $50 off sign up too. So $549, free delivery

    • How'd you get the extra $50 code?

      • +1

Just google Samsung $50 sign up discount. Sign up to marketing mailers and you get a copde.in about 15 mins

        • Thank you. I'm now waiting for it to be sent.

Got my heart set on the 55" but doesn't seem like it'll happen.

  • Damn. I just begrudgingly bought a $800 basic Samsung 43” for the bedroom after the POS Hisense died a week after its warranty expired. I know I should have fought harder but simply did not have the time or energy.

This would have been much nicer for my room.

  • Great price, though I have one and find it annoying. When you turn it off the Frame picture comes on and sometimes doesn’t go away. You have to hold the button to turn it off, which sometimes turns the TV back on 🤦‍♀️ If you have an apple device you want to cast from, sometimes the Samsung “forgets” it and refuses to cast. Other times it works. I looked it up and this is very common with Samsung tvs. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have Apple, but painful if you do.

    • When you turn it off the Frame picture comes on and sometimes doesn’t go away

Isn't that the whole point of buying a frame tv? It's meant to look like a piece of artwork on the wall by displaying a picture when turned off.

  • Highly recommend the 2021 model (size depends on where you put it) - looks mint with a white or wooden frame wall mounted clean with no cables.

The art mode is a nice aesthetic :)

  • +1

haven't got the subscription $50 voucher yet, still sitting in cart :(

  • Dam it.
In the app and zero codes

  • don't you need some ugly box underneath to hide all the cables and transformers?

    • Yes.

    • +1

As opposed to all the beautiful cables hanging down if you wall mount it?

  • how do i get the member app? please provide more details

    • +1

It was preinstalled on my Samsung phone

  • To anyone who has the 2022 version of this TV, has anyone used the auto ON when motion is detected for Art mode? I can't seem to get mine to turn itself off when no one is in the room.

BTW the matt 2022 version is great for locations opposite windows etc.

    • I had 55" 2022 model. same issue, it never auto turns on when I enter the room, have no idea how to set this up.

2021 65" Frame does this consistently, I like it more than 2022

  • +1

Why are people going crazy for a 43" 2 year old tv

    Price is about right

    • +3

Because I have a 17 year old TV

    • Why are people going crazy for a 43" 2 year old tv

No other TV has the main art mode features. The screen is tuned really well to make it blend in to a living area rather than shine brightly like a normal TV. There's a motion sensor to sense when people are around, and a color temperature sensor to adjust the tint to match your room lighting. It also looks like a picture frame.

      • Went and had a look at it at jb hifi , sales rep was great and had a play with the remote

        Nothing special really.
Also its small AF if your used to 55" and over

        Hard pass for me .

    • -5

I know right? I'm really surprised this is popular.

Guess there's a fair amount of people here with money to burn. Or maybe they aren't imaginative enough to have considered that you can turn any tv into this.
Then again, maybe if we saw it in person we'd also think it was worth the money.

      • +3

Or maybe they aren't imaginative enough to have considered that you can turn any tv into this.

With your great imagination, can you suggest an easy way to add a color temperature sensor, motion sensor, and brightness sensor to any TV? And also make it look like a picture frame? All the HDMI and power cabling would need to be very unobstrusive too, so the TV should only have one small thin cable leading to it. The panel should also be a QLED one, and everything should cost less than $599 with a warranty.

  • something wrong with the website, add to cart but then it got empty

  • I’m using a wall paper stickers strips to convert Samsung smart tv to frame tv and saved me $$$

  • +2

Great price but if I'm buying a Frame, the passive display mode should be the priority, so I personally am waiting for this sort of discount next year on the 2022 matte model.

    • My thought exactly. I hate glare on the screen so am waiting for the matte to be cleared.

  • But I think out of stock already.

  • back to stock

  • Any other TV on sale ?

  • Does anyone know if 2021 model supports Dolby Atmos? I've found conflicting information across various reviews online. (Thank you in advance).

    • in my understanding the smaller variants have less features than the bigger variants (55" and up)

  • +1

Just spoke to Samsung and it seems the 30% code has been permanently stopped…. Bummer

    • Yeah was annoying as i finally got a TV into my cart and half way through the checkout it removed the TV and when i tried again the code stopped working.

      • Haha same - it sucks. Even after missing out on the 30% I thought the price was still good on the 65” frame in the cart so went to checkout and got the uh-oh message. Lol been waiting on a deal like this for months

  • does anyone know that the 43" Frame TV can put on the table instead of wall mount to the wall?

    • +1

      Yes, comes with stand

      • thanks hopper. Even with the modern type white?

  • +1

Had been looking at the Q80A 65" - $1139 or so with 15% loyalty code.
Ended up impulse buying the QN85A 65" for $1549.
No idea what the difference is.

There was a popular post about a month ago with Q60A 55" for $839.
Can't see that anybody has reposted but most of those TV's are now back in stock at same prices.

    • +1

QN85A - it's using IPS panel and has full array local dimming (570 something zones I believe).

In a dark room IPS is going to have a dirty screen effect, unfortunately, that's IPS for you, black levels are not very good.
the upside is you get veeeeery wide viewing angles. So makes sense if you use it with wide seating, like watching a game 5 people sitting on a couch side by side

I ordered Qn85A myself but ended up changing my mind as usually use TV a lot in a dark room.

Q80A is supposed to be slightly better than Frame 2021 - on paper, but you're losing flush wall mounting and I think it has pretty lousy and annoying local dimming implementation, just turn it off if you watch a lot of movies. otherwise very similar to Frame.

in general, Frame is about the same as Q70 of the same generation (Frame 2021 = Q70A, Frame 2022 = Q70B), roughly.

      • Thanks for that.
I'll admit most of it still went over my head but I do understand what you are saying.
I'm sure it will be fine - worst case scenario it ends up being the kids TV and I buy another.
I currently have no TV's (lost in the divorce… somehow he got all the TV's and I got all the whitegoods haha).

        • +1

at any rate that's a very good price for 65" QN85A :) I paid $1300 for 55" version, and returned

oh the joys of divorce, I've been through that. just gave away everything haha

that's way too good for kids TV! it'll be fine as main entertainment machine
