I really like the matt screen on the new version, but mainly because I have this TV directly opposite a large window.
the only palpable difference is matte screen coating. it was cool, yes, but 2021 isn't too bad either.
If you are anything like me, and notice reflections all the time, then 2022 with matt is definitely the better option. If you're into art and the glass effect, the 2021 is great

set up stock alert, it was OOS several times since the year started. I was bummed when I missed it out in Jan, but it came back in stock 2 weeks later and I snatched one. then OOS again and now they added another batch that half OzBargain bought - and OOS again.

Lol I have the 50 inch samsung frame tv sitting around because the one connect box got ruined when the house was affected by floods. This would cost less than getting the one connect box replaced by samsung, they had quoted me $900 to get it fixed.
I ordered one this morning with a code given by Deviant88 above. The order went through, I received an order confirmation email with tax invoice, but the order status was stuck in "Waiting for Approval".
I just checked again and the order has disappeared. I guess it wasn't approved… someone else must have used the code at the same time.
Oh well!
Are we beholden to buying the wooden bezels through Samsung or are there other, cheaper retailers that can sell the bezels?

Genuinely curious, if you really wanna watch TV, why would you would something that looks like photo frame? I can see myself using it as rotating photo frame
Lots of people watch TV infrequently so want it to look nice when not showing mafs.
Picture frame features aside, it's a well spec'd TV, especially at this price.
to all ozbargainers out there with a Frame TV, you can loot online galleries like USEUM and grab a lot of high res photos of paintings. they are free of digital rights, to be used in whatever way you like.
load them up onto USB drive, stick into OneBox of your Frame and load into My Photos
this way you can have beautiful paintings for your Art mode and avoid paying $$$ for art subscription
Can also download photos from Bing wallpaper, there's scripts to grab them. Resolution isn't as high but if you aren't standing up close to the screen I doubt you'd notice.

My order for the 2021 Frame 43" was cancelled too.
Not only that, I had a second order on the same day for the 75" Q60A (not part of the Members coupon deal, just a sale price to clear old stock) and that order was cancelled also.
Poor form Samsung, cancelled with no reason attached, no contact, just 'Your refund request is confirmed', as if I asked for them both to be cancelled…
After owning 3 x Samsung TV's (75", 65", 55"), 1 x Samsung tablet, and 2 x Samsung Galaxy Phones, I'll be doing my best not to send my money in their direction ever again.
I ordered within minutes of the deal being posted, money deducted, received a suggested delivery date of today and no cancellation email …. yet.

Received my 85" Frame this morning - was shipped out 20th Feb.
The delivery truck looked like it had quite a number of larger samsung TVs loaded
For whatever reason I can't click into my order on the Samsung site.
Phoned them instead, advised March 15 as delivery date.
I just got a cancellation email for the 43" Frame.
Just cancelled my order on the 43 inch frame too. Not happy.
How much better newer version is compared to this one ?
