Can I use this for Sony A7 IV?

It fits and will take pics, but not for anything video,
If you want video, I strongly reccomend the sandisk extreme (or the sandisk extreme Pro if you have extra $$$) you pay more, but they are excellent value better fit for purpose.

  • Hey, I'm a professional tech guy, I Just checked the reviwes on the samsung site, you should too before purchase.
imo, Many have discussed if stops working (usually in the 6 months according to reviews), they have issues with claiming warranty. The other point is the negitive revies are using it for outside warranty uses "Warranty does not extend to dashcam, CCTV, surveillance camera and other write-intensive uses"…
I would also note, the write speed is very ambiguas "Read : up to 130MB/s Write : Lower than Read Speed*" i would expect this write speed to be half or less, otherwise they would just say it. before you say its U3, yea, but thats often misleading.
So this looks great for happy snaps in a camera and long term storgage, but dont reccomend it for things (very common things for sd cards) outside the warranty…
    I hope this helps someone

    • EVO Plus and EVO Select are the same chip one is just sold exclusively on Amazon

and what reviews you on about? its like close to 5 stars here: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/memory-c…

This Samsung one is much better than most other SD Card brands

Yeah even then I think the reviews they cited pretty much sums up to 'don't use for high endurance or 24/7 purposes' which is hardly some damning indictment on the quality.

        • For 24/7 you should be the ones labelled 'Endurance' or 'Heavy Duty' or something anyway

  • Grabbed a pair for the Gopro, need some big cards for an upcoming trip…

Not as cheap as this previous deal :( … 2 for $110
