5170

Similar to HelloFresh where they send you the ingredients and recipe. Cutting the waste as they send you the exact portion you will need. To get the deal:

  1. Choose from the referral code (you can use random from the Ozb referral generator below)
  2. Select 6 people and 3 recipes per week to maximise the benefit
  3. Pay using PayPal/Credit Card, and select the delivery day as any day other than Tuesday, as you will have to cancel it before Tuesday to avoid getting the next subscription box
  4. Cancel once you have your meal delivered

Also, Cashrewards have 25% cashback deal, although might not work as this deal is using a voucher code already.

As others have mentioned in the comment, if you don't get the discount, keep cycling the referral codes or get it from someone.

Hmmm, actually they said this is normal:

"You may just disregard the error you received, but it is definitely pending as it is not yet paid, it will only be confirmed on Wednesday morning, since that is our payment cycle."

  • damn - it initially showed as $9.99 and I have been billed $114.99

    • What's your confirmation email say when the order initially went through?

If it says 9.99 and you've been billed the whole amount then there's something wrong on their end.

Fraud issues aside, get them to cancel it

      • +2

so - the chat customer service sorted it , refunded the $114.99, place new order for $9.99 - thank goodness for screen shots!

  • -1

    Thanks! Got 4 meals/2 people for $12

    • +1

Should have got 6 people 3 meals for $9.99

      • +1

Does that mean 18 meals for 1 person?

      • +2

Yeah I don't have the freezer/fridge space in a share house so opted for less. 4 different meals / 8 solo dinners for $12 - I'm still happy with that.

  • Worked for me..TBH the meals are pretty crappy if you can even remotly cook, very simple stuff, but for $9.99 that will do 3 of us for 3 meals at least

    • You eat double portions?

      • "at least" I give my eldest hot food for school and will do that with the leftovers.

  • Now I have 3 lots of 6x identical meals. I live alone so I don't think i'll eat them all but it's still worth it

    • Lol

    • +5

Don't waste unused food. Give away the excess meals you cooked to friends, family and neighbours etc

      • -6

yes i absolutely hate wasting food and often go to extremes so that it never happens, worse case is i feed any old/excess food to the local animals (fish and birds)

        • +2

That's…..not a good idea. Feeding wild animals like fish and birds food that they aren't supposed to eat is not good for them in a health sense, but also from a sense that it makes them reliant on it. Just freeze your leftovers

          • @coffeeinmyveins: Yes it's a great idea compared to putting your expired food in the rubbish. Animals aren't going to the gym trying to be healthy. I tell you now they much prefer food to eat rather than going hungry

            • +1

@x x: Food made for human consumption fed to wild animals can kill them

. I tell you now they much prefer food to eat rather than going hungry

My dog would gladly eat a kilo of chocolate, so?

Thanks OP for the detailed instructions!

    • Happy to contribute back to the community :)

How large are the serves? If it's like the size of a Weight Watchers meal or an airplane meal then it's really only enough for 2-3 people and not 6. Any idea on how much mince meat they give for 6 people? I normally use 500g for a meal for 2 adults, 7, 5 and 1yr old.

    • +1

The meals are not precooked by the way but for the meals for 2, they give you roughly 250g of mince or fillets so I assume it will scale up (meals for 4 will get 500g and 6 could be 750g).

Put it this way, I live alone so I am on the good for 2 option and the servings are enough for two meals (dinner and lunch next day) and for some recipes (usually the ones with chicken thigh or breast fillets), I can pad it out by cutting up the fillets smaller.
You may or may not be able to have seconds but depending on the recipe and appetite, that aint necessarily a bad thing!

  • +1

Thanks OP, it's wild though how you can get 18 meals discounted but even 2*4 = 8 meals you pay extra for. Might use half the ingredients for each meal then mix and match with the other meals so I'm not eating the same thing all week lol

Guess I'm not in the 'majority of WA delivery area'….

Until I signed up, it gave no indication that my address couldn't be delivered to

    • Huh in true Ozbargins style I signed up and ordered before checking their delivery areas. How and when did they tell you they can’t deliver to you? Im an hour or so out of Townsville so don’t like my chances.

Edit: found in their FAQs where it says you can enter your post code - which just goes to your account settings and I guess if there is a green tick on your address it will be fine. The other section on their site just lists the major cities.

  • Ordered.. thank you for the referral:)

    • +2

      I've got 19 clicks. Crazy

      • Wonder if they will honor this. It is still showing as $0 credit on my account.

        • It takes time, probably after orders are paid for and no cancellation possible

      • How do you work out the number of clicks on your referral link?

        • +1

On the first page of this post, click edit under referrals

          • @TEER3X: Says that for my next order the credit will be used (I got $100 from referrals!). But I'm also getting 15% off my next order, will this discount negate the $100 credit? Read that credit doesn't apply to delivery fee and discounted orders?? Not sure if the discount will cancel out the credit! Any thoughts?

            • @samsam29: I think you can’t use referral credits until 15% off finishes.Just wondering if we skip the 15%off deliveries, it will expire or not?

              • +1

@binusam2007: That’s my plan, but if anyone can confirm please let us know!

  • +1

Thanks OP, a busy week ahead and this deal is genuinely appreciated. Huge help. Peace.

  • +6

2.5K clicks on the deal. I think their exec team will be very surprised on Monday, they probably have not account for the power of Ozb referral system.

  • The most important thing you need to know about EveryPlate is that they are 100% owned by HelloFresh.

And I noticed Everyplate is also using the same software as youfoodz, also owned by hellofresh.

  • Got an email mine was cancelled

  • Awesome. Thanks OP

  • It only gives me two options for delivery day. Tuesday to 28th and Tuesday the 7th. Would I be able to cancel on Monday the day before?

    • +1

Wouldnt think so as someone else said that they run the debits on Wednesdays weekly so you will need to cancel on Tuesdays.

      • Found this line on the website.
"Make sure you update your account before 11:59 PM (Sydney time) Tuesday, the week before delivery."
So if I should get the box 6:00PM latest, that gives me 6 hours to cancel.

        • +2

You can also set the next delivery to 'skip' right now. Then you'll have a lot more time to properly cancel it.

  • +1

Interesting to me that people mention this is better than HF when HF owns EP. I don't mind trying it out though.

  • Is there any way that I can contribute to the referral codes? Wanting to give back since this is a deal I've made use of

    • In the referral row, click on edit and put in your referral codes

  • Thanks OP, cancelled my dinnerly that was delivered this morning and will try this one next week.

  • My referrals aren't working anymore, anyone else have this issue?

    • +1

As above, someone commented they spoke to support and it’s limited to 10 referrals then your code expires.

      • $200 sweet!!!

        • 33 click throughs and counting.

$200 in the bank it would seem.

  • annnnd they don't deliver to my area. Great.

  • "There is something wrong with your subscription. Please contact us."

I'm seenig this couple of hours after ordering.

    • Try contacting them.

      • +1

I did, after giving my details the rep stopped replying.

  • Cheers OP. Got lucky and on first click to the site got the $9.99 deal.

  • thanks OP, quick one, where do i find my referral code to share?

  • +1

Has anyone been able to use their referral credits? It looks like you can't use a discount and credits at the same time and I've been checking and I've got a discount applied for at least the next 3 weeks?

    • Correct. Credits can only be used after all discounts have run out.

  • +1

13.6 Vouchers and Customer credits deriving from any Customer referral program are not valid if used inappropriately, such as being published on deal sites or bargain sites. We reserve the right to cancel any suspicious codes and delete credits from the sharer’s account if we become aware of or suspect any inappropriate use.

  • +1

Anyway to change the first delivery date? I haven't ordered it yet but cannot see option to change the first delivery date anywhere. (Don't like the next week's menu)

  • Any referral codes left?? It keeps saying this voucher cannot be used

  • Showing as $55 with referral code working.

    Have they updated the pricing?

Edit: Nevermind I had 6 meals selected

  • +3

Just a warning, as stated by the OP make sure you use the correct process to cancel the subscription. Just signing up with a single use visa number or cancelling your PayPal authorisation wil not cancel the service. They will continue to deliver and refer your account to collection agency if you don't provide an alternate payment source.

    • I'd also take screenshots and save any emails they send you confirming cancellation. I had HelloFresh (sister/parent company?) continue to charge and deliver to me after cancellation, even with proof I had cancelled they were still trying to tell me I was in the wrong. Was a few years back now however so hopefully they aren't as sly/stupid.

      • I've used EveryPlate on and off for a year now. Very easy to cancel and/or sign up again.

  • +1

Everyplate does not deliver to Tasmania.

  • thanks OP

  • Started getting the “There is something wrong with your subscription.
Please contact us.” red banner as well.

Contacted them on live chat and they said nothing was wrong with my order and it has been flagged with their “technical department” and to just refresh the page. Message is gone now 🤷‍♂️

  • Can't work out how to add to the referral link. Is it the FIH-************ number we add to it? Thanks

    • Yeh that's what I thought it was, but everytime someone clicks the link it straight up says "Uh oh, that voucher is no longer available"

  • Thanks for the great deal OP!

  • Thanks OP. Got one for Saturday

  • Tried a bunch of coupons but at the final stage I keep getting:

We're sorry, this voucher can't be added to this order. If you want to proceed with your order, please remove it.

  • They cancelled my order and deactivated my account.

    • +1

Do you have like multiple accounts?

      • Got an email several hours later saying their system says I've ordered from them before. Previous apartment owners must've had an account or something.

        • So using a new email address won’t work to do another freebie…

  • my order isnt showing under order history? although I got a confirmation email last night.
    anyone else with the same?

    • Mine is still there and says "Pending"

  • +1

I completed my order with last screen showed 9.99. However, when I checked my order the price is 114.99. So I contacted the live chat agent and he/she said that for some reason the discount was applied on the second order. They then cancelled my origin order and create a new one. After that I can see my discount offer for the first week is claimed.

Not sure if my order would be cancelled at last. Anyway just post this comment to help anyone who is confused as me. :)

  • +5

They keep sending me weird emails like, have you forgotten to complete your order? (No I have a confirmation email) and would you like to swap your meal choices listed below? (All incorrect). Hopefully the box turns up as ordered and I get charged correctly 🤞

    • Same here and in my order history it says Pending with a "CONTACT US" button…

  • Is it just me or is the offer over? I've tried a few random codes from generator and it's only giving the normal discount and not free first order.

    • Possibly over, this is going to cost them a fortune. Lots of people are getting a $10 box, plus $200 worth of credit, and likely won't spend a further cent, except for shipping costs.

  • they deactivated my account but after reactivated the first delivery ia gone
