EveryPlate Meal Kit Free First Order + $9.99 Delivery @ EveryPlate

5170

Similar to HelloFresh where they send you the ingredients and recipe. Cutting the waste as they send you the exact portion you will need. To get the deal:

  1. Choose from the referral code (you can use random from the Ozb referral generator below)
  2. Select 6 people and 3 recipes per week to maximise the benefit
  3. Pay using PayPal/Credit Card, and select the delivery day as any day other than Tuesday, as you will have to cancel it before Tuesday to avoid getting the next subscription box
  4. Cancel once you have your meal delivered

Also, Cashrewards have 25% cashback deal, although might not work as this deal is using a voucher code already.

As others have mentioned in the comment, if you don't get the discount, keep cycling the referral codes or get it from someone.

    • You got email about cancellation?

      • no email received, I was just randomly checking it and saw my account deactivated then I reactivated it, only to find out my scheduled first delivery on 25/2 is not there and it says "No delivery
You did not receive a box this week."

        • Did you set a referral code (not use one)?

          When did you sign up?

  • Tried with multiple (random) codes, one worked 🤞

I had one of the this meal box delivered last month when I move in to a temporary property.

Bloody ripped off quality. All fruit and veggie they provided is at almost bin quality

I paid $3x.00 for the box and sware never go back anymore

    • Lucky you just paid $3x

      • +1

3x sounds like 3 times too much

  • My referral code seems to have been expired although the banner is still showing in my account for a free box, referral credit also hasn't come through to my account yet. Is this the same with everyone else?

    • +1

I have 20 clicks and no credit (yet).

      • i have 39 plus referring a number of people manually, very odd!

      • Remember that a lot of people were cycling through referral codes cos not all were giving the full discount.

        • I referred people directly who told me it worked so i should be entitled to the credit?

      • +8

I have 1K+ clicks on my referral. Not a cent credit on my piggy bank. LOL. If they do really honor it, I guess I'll have free meal for the rest of this year.

        • Random referral link not so random

        • +1

You will get the credit on Wed morning, if referee successfully ordered.
Previously I referred 10 people and got $200, then my link broke, can't show discount anymore.

          • +1

@RTY: Let's see if I get 1K in credit tomorrow!

            • +1

@flickr: If you paste your referral link in to an incognito window you will see it has expired. They have limited how many people you can refer with your link.

            • +1

@flickr: Its $200 max per account
              10 referrals x $20

            • @flickr: I got $180 in credit :)

              • @knight321: Me too! I might just not cancel the 4 weeks plan then and use up the credit. It said the credit can't be used to cover the delivery fees though.

                • @flickr: Yep and comments below note that the discounts cannot be stacked with the credits so need to use one or the other.

      • $200 of credit today :). What's the best way to spend? Pause delivery while I consume this order. Is the 6x3 order the most cost effective?

        • But as per term says it cannot be used towards delivery fee anyway, and I've seen ppl on previous comments saying that they've been cycling thru codes (tho I don't know how they manage to do it exactly?). Doesn't that mean you can always get free boxes (except for $9.99 delivery fee) and the credits (which can only be used towards the free part) are essentially useless?

  • any recommended meals from them? or the preselected are fine

    • That’s a personal choice but I changed all 3 default meals

  • Ordered one from random code. Thanks!

  • +1

I would encourage everyone to revisit their billing and subscription history. It appears the $9.99 has been removed due to * technical glitch * I strongly suspect they won’t honour this deal. Having spoken to their online support, they apparently rectified this glitch but full cost of $114.99 still billable. Ultimately I decided to cancel the order.

    • +1

      You did it wrong.

      • My one is working too but as outined by others, they also experience this so-called glitch $$

    • My PayPal was only charged $9.99 just now.

      • Same

      • Think we can remove the automatic payment on the paypal app now?

  • +1

For those of us getting the "There is something wrong with your subscription" message after successfully ordering. This what live chat says

"I can see that your order is scheduled on Feb 26th, 3 meals for 6 people and you will only be charge $9.99 for the shipping fee since you are able to successfully apply the free box discount code. Also your cut off is until tonight before we finalise the order tomorrow. Your delivery time is between12am-7am and I can see here that we successfully received your meal selection.

Possible that since we are updating our system this generated notification has pop up on your notification. If all the information I mentioned is correct, please disregard the message."

  • it kept saying there was a $30 premium meal in my cart. Read some of these comments and bailed on the deal. No good.

    • +4

Did you have a premium meal in your cart?

      • -1

no I didn't lmao. cancelled my order and they still charge me $30. scam company scam deal.

        • You know what to do…contact them and dispute the charge and if it fails, dispute it with your bank.

Obviously, they aint a scam company nor is it a scam deal if others havent had issues…..

  • Since I’ve signed up for this deal, I’ve gotten 2 spam texts, which is strange. Has anyone else gotten these?

    • +1

      Welcome to Australia.

    • Your first mistake was using your actual phone number for a company owned by Hellofresh lol. They're in the tier of gyms and real estate agents. But above Kogan.

  • -1

I'm a dummy, I thought these were microwave meals. Didn't know that you had to cook. Now I have 18 meals that I have to cook…

    • +3

Well it's only 3 meals you have to cook, then eat them 18 times.

  • +1

Nice, I fully expect old vegetables and then the company to go bust in a few months like the last time i used a food coupon.

  • +1

8 referrals hit my account last night $160 to go with my $475 in hello fresh credits

  • Thanks OP, charged $9.99 just now

Also cheers to those hitting my referral link 🙂

  • $160 worth of credits in my account this morning how good.

  • +2

just a heads up to ask your discount to be removed if you want to use your credit on your next order. otherwise you can't use your credit

    • I see. Fake credit.

Hellofresh, youfoodz, everyplate… all owned by the same company.

I had a youfoodz order that was late and they said they would credit my account $10 and send me a free drink as compensation.

They added $10 of fake credit to my account which can only be used for full priced orders.

They never sent the free drink and said they could add on $5 of more fake credit towards my balance as compensation.

They're getting creative at ways to deceive people.

Whereas in other platforms, credit is credit. Have Amazon credit? It never expires and you can use it towards any purchase.

      • To be fair on Hellofresh/Youfoodz the discounts are normally terrible after the first week but if you want you can use credits after your discounts.

Credit carries across weeks/doesn't expire, stacks with referral and live chat compensation and can be used on any box size without decreasing in value (unlike the discounts which do).

        Btw

Have Amazon credit? It never expires and you can use it towards any purchase.

Doesn't apply on Amazon Warehouse orders, even if it's an warehouse product you ordered and they lost in their logistics system.

    • So current discount code doesn’t stack with referral credits?

    • Do you just talk to chat to have your next discounts removed?

  • I'd say change your meals if you end up with bad ones as I just did . Don't touch the premiums and the price stays the same .
Where my ref code ? Edit WS 1) Send free box 2) Copy link after clicking that .

    • What meals did you get?

  • +1

Pay using PayPal/Credit Card, and select the delivery day as any day other than Tuesday, as you will have to cancel it before Tuesday to avoid getting the next subscription box

This is not required since you can just pause delivery for next 2 weeks when you place your order so you have time to cancel.

  • How long does the box take to arrive?

    • +1

I just ordered and the soonest delivery date I had was Saturday the 4th of March. That's 10 days.

      • So then box 2 will be charged on the Tuesday after so you're cancelling before then?

  • Logged into my account and saw a $160 credit under my credit balance, thanks to the 8 people who registered their accounts through my referral link. What can I do with this credit? Can I spend it in one go or you can only deduct a portion of it every time you order? Would like to use them all at once and then cancel the service. Thanks.

    • Does the system use the available credits automatically with your next weeks order and you get charged the remaining, if any?

      • +1

I think I finally figured out how this referral credit works, and I don't think I can use the $160 credit in one go without spending extra. This was in their T&C "credits and discounts cannot be combined. If you have a discount and a credit, the discount will be automatically applied and you can use your credit on a next order without discount." Because we all clicked other people's referral links to get this offer, this is what's showing in my account "Enjoy a total of $155 OFF throughout your first 4 boxes!" which means the first box I got included a $105 discount, the second box if I am going to order one, will have a $15 discount automatically applied.(I can already see a "You're getting $15 off this delivery! " banner in my account) So unless I have used up all the discount in the first 4 boxes, I am not allowed to use the $160 credit I have in my account, anyone thinks otherwise?

        • Thanks for your insight and reading the terms and conditions because most of us can’t be bothered 😁

What you explained makes sense. As others have mentioned the credits can’t be used unless you get them to manually remove the discount after your first order or wait past your four orders.

By agreeing to the offer. Does it give them the right to continue to charge your credit card for orders 2-4 even if you cancel the account?

          • @MuddyClear: Haha, not sure if this will help, again was taken from the T&C.

I’m redeeming a free box. Why do I need to enter a payment method?
This is because when you redeem your free box, you will just need to pay the standard delivery fee of $9.99.

Please also note, EveryPlate is a flexible, no lock-in subscription, so you will be signing up to a weekly, auto-renewing service. You can easily skip a week or cancel your plan! Just remember to make any updates by 11:59PM AEST on Tuesday the week prior to delivery

            • +1

@szy2k: Sounds good. I will deactivate plan in settings after first order. Then wait until I accumulate more credits through referrals and repeat hack 😉

          • +2

            @MuddyClear:

unless you get them to manually remove the discount after your first order

Do you know if this is possible? Keen to use my $200 credit but don't really want to order 4 boxes with a mediocre discount to be able too.

            • @tryagain: Yes as someone else has suggested it

              • @MuddyClear: Just asked on Live Chat?

                • @tryagain: I would try it

                  • +1

@MuddyClear: I successfully got the discount removed via the live chat.

But now on the menu select page, the View Order Total doesn't show the credit applied. Is this normal?

The credit balance page says "No need to do anything—we'll automatically apply them to your next order!" Should I just trust it?

                    • @wxyzab: Live chat removed my discount and confirmed to me that the credit would be applied to my next box. I screenshotted it, no trust needed.

                    • @wxyzab: Yes. Just screenshot it as evidence should something go wrong. Please let me know if it works

      • I also got my referral code hammered here and now I have $200 in credit thanks to OzB!

Anyway, in my case, my next order has been discounted by $20 which is the equivalent of one referral; not ideal but $20 off is $20 off.

  • Can confirm the PENDING drops off on Wednesday (today) when they do the billing and you get charged $9.99 for delivery.

Not sure why people got their accounts cancelled. Possibly due to account being detected as redundant (same person/address).

    • do they use the hellofresh backend? might be flagging people as exisiting customers at a guess

      • I was able to get this first order free box Every Plate despite already having a Hello Fresh account.

I used same email and phone number.

        • Same address too I gather

  • Do we cancel after the first delivery or after 3 Rd delivery thank you

    • Use "skip". Also add your ref code to ozbargain, you might get credit too and then use credit when you need another box

  • Damn, just got an email that my subscription was cancelled and I didn't request that. Don't know what caused that as I'm pretty sure no one else used Everplate at my address in the last five years.

    • While having an online chat, they said "our system has recognized you as an existing customer based on your account details ( mobile number, delivery address ). Then they reinstated my account and applied the discount. Hopefully, it goes well next time…

  • Did anyone see the Ts &Cs for referrers when you get the signup notification from someone? It now says limit of one credit per box??! Did this change recently? So you can only use max $25 off each time you order instead of getting bulk $$ off orders?

    • that’s not good. Better cancelling plan and wait for an offer

  • Sorry I am a bit slow, but can you explain why not to have delivery scheduled for Tuesdays?

    • There is no reason not to have delivery scheduled for Tuesday. Just make sure when you place your order, you skip the next 2 orders so they do not charge you for the 2nd box.

      • I have skipped the second weeks order. But I can't see the third?

  • Offer only for 1 week or we can keep apply promotion code after 1st week delivery?

    • Once you apply the code, it distributes the total value of the promo over a number of deliveries (usually the first 4-6 boxes).

  • When they charge for the order? I placed order this afternoon and haven't got charge for delivery fee yer and I keep receiving email asked me to complete my order! Stange..

    • +1

They charge on Wednesdays assuming your first delivery is late next week or next weekend.

    • +1

I placed order Sunday, they charged me Friday for deliver Saturday.

  • +2

    Received my box. Thanks OP!!!!!

  • Thanks worked first go.

Bargain for all the protein you get, which I assume you can freeze.

  • oh wait these are not microwave meals.. if i have to cook them then this is a fail for me because yeah i cannot cook at all

  • I need something like this but microwave meals.

Otherwise this is a great deal but I can't meal kit I need premade meals.

    • YouFoodz had same sort of promo recently.
      $50 for 18 pre-made meals

      • Thanks I'll check it out
