    My ceiling has a 10 degree pitch with no access to the roof space.. can the fan be still installed?

      The hangsure canopy allows for up to a 15° pitched ceiling

    Back in 2014, we installed 9 Martec Lifestyle fans. Within 12 months, 2 were replaced under warranty. Over the next few years, one of the replacements and 5 of the original fans (6 in total) became noisy.

    In 2021, we replaced those 6 fans with Hunter Pacific Polac DC fans.

    Of the remaining 3 Lifestyle fans, 1 is noisy, with 2 still functioning well.

    The HPs are quiet - really quiet - in comparison to the AC Lifestyles.

      Thanks for this. Have also had a bad run with 4 martecs, all 4 had capacitors replaced under warranty. One no longer works 2 years later. The remaining 3 run so slow we are using pedestal fans so assume need capacitors replaced again but i just haven't gotten around to it.
      They are not great for air flow even when briefly working.
      Was searching for better quality. Will look at the HPs
