  • Cheapest that I can see, for sure.
On eBay, it's 3.37AUD (and the guy's feedback's pretty crummy). The cheapest price from anyone with half-decent feedback is 3.58AUD.

  • Good tool! I have two of them now, both puchased when Meritline had their specials. One stays in the glove box in the car. Comes in handy.

Usually takes about a week to arrive.

  • been waiting for this ! :D

    • you didn't have to wait long. They come around at this price about once a week

  • just bought one, might come in handy :)

very bad quality , bought one last time and it was totaly waste of money.

I agree. Very poor quality. I used one of the phillips head piece to take out some screws and managed to take out 2 before it started to erode away and became useless.

      • +1

yes they are rubbish. I hope all the neggers screw drivers break lol

    • Weird. I have two sets and have used them many times. I only use them for mobile phones, laptops and very small gadgets though, so maybe they can't take harder punishment.

It's also possible there are different batches made in different factories. I have two that were ordered many months apart but appear to be exactly the same. However with other products, I've previously re-ordered the same item from Meritline or DealExtreme and while the product codes were the same, the product that arrived was very similar in appearance to the first batch, but vastly different in build quality.

It could be luck of the draw.

      • Possibly

      • i have one of these as well was fine for ages used them on laptops and screws that you dont tighten much then went to undo a screw in a speakers and demolished 4 in one go lol

    • meant to vote +. stupid smart phone with small screen

    • Agreed, these are very poor quality.

  • I'd been looking out for it. Hoping to get a few more of these before Christmas as gifts. Shouldn't be too difficult considering they pop up often.

  • Bagged one finally :)

  • still havent received the order last time - already 2 month PLUS

    • Same, completely forgot about that!

  • Bought another one.. GOD DAMN you OZB

  • In my experience Meritline ship everything really quick — even quicker when it's sent from Singapore. I've had some things turn up in just over a week.

I nabbed one of these and haven't used it yet, and since I bought it it's turned up about 3 more times. Obviously not something you use daily but nice to have around.

  • doesn't everyone have 3 or 4 of these by now?

btw. those "hot dollar" clints whatever stores have these for $3 or $4 too

about the quality… i've repaired laptops and small electronic devices with them

    they are fine

Why are we negging pcdokan?? He/She speaks the truth and is just looking out for fellow ozbargainers. I use tools on a daily basis as part of my trade and know a good tool from a shite one. These are rubbish tools with bits made out of cheese. The metal used is very soft and definately not hardened. They twist, shear and break very easily.

Ok to buy one as long as you are aware these are not made to last.

    • Ok then tell us whichones are made to last. AFAIK they all breakdown. Some spoil the head if you are not careful.

    • Thanks highon2str for the comment , I am surprised that people negging me , I just tried to share my experience .

  • lol i bought these the last time they were on sale. Arrived within a week. Never even used any, just bought cuz looked good =/

I had the misfortune of owning one and it is guaranteed to fail and make 2 jobs in place of 1. Bad bad. Don't buy just coz it is cheap! i know it is hard, dear Ozbargainers :) but you can do it!
