      Heh yea. Defnitely cheaper when ya bundle it with the initial purchase discount! Else it is tad expe sive to buy it from gopro direct after the fact.

  Ah bugger, got excited for bargain GoPro batteries, but these aren't compatible with my Hero 5.

  GoPro cameras are built to last - just went skiing (Nagano) and bike riding (Kyoto) in Japan a few weeks ago and had no issues in the cold (-4°C), and recorded all day with 4 batteries.

    Depends on the model of Gopro you have, there are several dud models and others with inconsistent performance. The 5 is a great model though!

  I want to buy their charger for my GoPro Hero 11 but GoPro only has charger with 2 batteries, and they don't ship batteries without a camera. So I can't buy it from GoPro.

  Amazon has Telesin and Reygeak but it's not clear how their batteries perform in Hero 11.

    Not sure about those telesin batteries but I have read really good things abou these new Enduro batteries lasting heaps longer than the originals.

    Amazon has Telesin and Reygeak but it's not clear how their batteries perform in Hero 11.

    They get detected as fakes and limit the video modes available (think the limit is 4k 30p)

    Best to buy a third party charger on it's own (very little a 3rd party can do to get a charger circuit wrong!)

      I used 2 Gopro and 3 Telesin batteries with my Gopro 8, they all had about the same capacity at first but after a year of casual use the Telesin battery capacity dropped off significantly…

      Personally I always stick with genuine Gopro batteries now… (it's a pity the gopro charger is so slow though)

        If it charged faster, then you're battery life would drop after a while as well. These charge at 0.5C which is a safe level.
        The Telesin capacity drop might be due to poor BMS settings discharging lower and/or charging higher. Now I'm curious enough to buy a Telesin 'Stamina' to see what their BMS does vs the GoPros

          @plague69: It's just a pain if you want to record for a 12 hour day without being tethered you'd have to juggle 6+ batteries and 2 if not 3 chargers… I miss the days when you could record 24/7 with 1 charger and 2 batteries, lol, batteries could be charged faster than they were used….
