    Has anyone hwre uaed both these sony and the bose quiet comfort earbuds 2? Wondering if the bose are really worth the extra $100

      If already spending $300, spending an extra $100 to get something better is probably worth it. That being said, the Sony's are already fantastic. Depends what you're after really, if you want the additional comfort, and noise-cancelling then the Bose probably is better. Tbh I find it hard to spend anything more than $200 on bluetooth earphones because after 1-2 years the battery is done and you have to throw them out anyway. Best value for money I found is the JBL Live Pro 2 for music/conference calls/ambient/ANC.

      Also the XM5 will come out later this year as well so might be worth waiting for that

      I can only compare the XM4s with the original quietcomfort earbuds but the Sony has better sound quality and Bose better noise cancellation. Tips on the sony are more comfortable for me

    For some reason, i found over ear headphones not very comfortable for long hours. So went ahead with the earbuds version.

      Sony XM4s are one of the most uncomfortable IEMs on the market. Those ear tips + overly chunky build are not good for long term wearing for a lot of people. Bose QuietComfort, AirPods Pro and Sennheiser all much more comfortable.

      I bought the Comply memory foam tips and they transformed my WF-1000XMS. I can wear them all day without any discomfort, unlike the ones that came with them that started to hurt after 15 minutes.

      Easily the best earbuds I have owned, and the Comply's were worth every cent too.

    Got these, had the buds pro.

    You need to tweak the EQ on these to make them wow. One you do, these are just amazing.

    Multipoint update coming….. Soonish….

    I have the XM4s, they don't fit into my ears properly - if you've had issues with earbuds fitting before, look somewhere else. Sound quality + general functionality is lovely, literally my only gripe is the fit. They aren't particularly large, but definitely larger than something like the Airpods Pro.

      I had the opposite problem. None of the AirPods Pro tips fit and could form a proper seal, including several third party ones I tried. XM4 was the only one that worked for me. I probably just have massive ears.

    Sony's IEM's fitting is terrible and super uncomfortable. Granted Airpods don't have the best sound quality - but one thing they have done right is comfort which is why I moved over to them (despite being on Android)

    Take that with a grain of salt, especially if you are coming from decent over ears headphones with ANC. These only dampen low frequency noise. When walking around outside, with music at normal listening levels, I can still clearly hears birds chirping and cars driving past.

    If ANC is high on your priority list, I would say look elsewhere.

      I think it means in regards to other twc. With the right fit and the foam type, I'd agree with that assessment. It's much closer now, though these has been out for 1 year+

    Can anyone comment on how the Sony WF-1000XM4 compare to Jabra Elite 85t? I've had the Jabra elite 75t (without ANC) for a few years and they've been great; good sound quality, good fit (use for running and never felt like they might fall out), no pairing issues, and survived a run through the washing machine a couple years ago and still working well.

    When you click on Bose QuietComfort 45 at Myer in chrome you get $299 for a second before it switches to $399. I bet there's a code or something.

    I got it. It only works for the white QC45, logged in and when you're previewing the checkout. Purchase went through.

    Try adding all of the QC45s to the cart and you'll see only one has $299.

    Just bought the QC45 in black for $299. I was logged in, using Microsoft Edge (after I couldn't get it with Chrome) and just played around with add/remove/refresh for a few minutes until it worked

      All earbuds are far.closer to your brain radiation wise. It's an n3 cubed rule for radiation exposure so headphones are far superior
