Got the powerboard from Balgowlah store, I'm not sure if its at all the stores. Great price. The cord is short, 90cm and individual switches.

If you have a big adapter you'll only get 3 ports out of it. Most good boards have at least one plug that's separated by a gap from the others.

  Plug a cheap powerboard into every switched outlet - bingo, 16 or 24 outets, space for half that in fat plugpacks, 4 switches.
  
  (After all, anything on a plugpack isn't going to pull a fraction of 10A of current each)

2 left at Balgowlah. Theres a 5 point switched model about $10 at markets. Universal sockets but not as well made and not approved.
