Cheapest price as far as I can tell for this model. Same price for the 65 inch and $200 cheaper than the C735 in the 75 inch.

The C835 Series introduces TCL's amazing Mini LED panel technology with enhanced colour, contrast, and substantially increased brightness, plus IMAX Enhanced for cinema-like quality. A dedicated built-in subwoofer enhances the already remarkable soundstage driven by Onkyo Audio and Dolby Atmos. 144Hz Variable Refresh Rate plus Freesync Premium certification round out the features for gaming, and all users will relish a full suite of Smart functions and apps.

    • It was a price error

    • +3

I literally purchased it one day ago at original price.

ozbargainer never buy without special promo

    • +1

Price error you’ll have 0 luck sadly

  • As per JB, most probably it will be cancelled due to price error. If someone gets it at that price, it will be a great bargain for them.

    • +5

I got confirmation to pick it up.

      • +1

please kindly share a photo of your pick up receipt and the price, so others like us can use the photo for a price match at either JB or Good guys!

        • How do you do that?

          • @Jklaro: Take a photo of the pick up receipt with the price, date but hide your name/address/credit card ending number from the photo.

upload the photo to https://imgbox.com/ or any other temporary image hosting website you can find.

reply with the link here and others can then use your receipt photo to Try for a price match in store.

many have done this in the past on Ozbargain and i've surely benefit from this practice before too, i've also posted my receipts a few times and others benefited from my sharing those receipts as well. (example of what i did before https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/559581 )

            • @ghostkkz: As per JB it was a price error. I doubt JB will match the price on new sales even with the receipt from the people who got it at that bargain price. If JB still matches it based on a bargain price, then it will be great.

            • +2
              • @Jklaro: Thank you Jklaro. Unfortunately, it's the black and white printed receipt when you pick up that will be accepted for price match not the online order details.

                • +3

@ghostkkz: Ok still need to pick it up. Will update when i do.

            • @ghostkkz: How can you even do this? Dont they only price match current live price not a lower price happened in the past? Let along it’s known as a price error.

              • @NoBargainNoLife: They can price match another JB discounted sale if you can provide a proof of purchase copy.
Its really up to the salesperson/manager discretion (I used to work at JB).

Because this is a price error, I highly doubt they would match even if you provided proof - unless you get reaaaaaaaaally lucky.
Worst case is they say no, its worth a shot.

                • @amityaaron: Good to know thank for that.
But is that mean JB normally even price match/backdate a finished limited time only promotion? (Not priceerror)

For example a sale finished a week ago, now I can go to JB to ask them give me that price?
If yes what’s the point being a promotion… you can get the discount anytime.

                  Just curious.

                  • +1

@NoBargainNoLife: They could…again its really up to the salesperson/manager.
They dont usually do it for sales, only if someone was able to get it cheaper by haggling with another jb salesperson.

my manager would only approve a price match from a previous purchase if it was done a day or 2 ago.
If you missed a sale, they would just say you missed out.

Another thing that JB usually do is if you have purchased something and it goes on sale not long after, they will reimburse you the difference.

The factor here is time… if its a reasonable timeframe (days/up to 1 month) theres more of a chance it being accepted rather than something purchased 12 months ago.

                    • @amityaaron: Thanks for the clarification.
My takeaway is next time I will make sure I haggle there! 😂 Never thought about it.

                      • +1

                        @NoBargainNoLife: always haggle haha.

On their device they can see
                        - the cost price to JB
                        - the average sell price across all JB stores
                        - how much commission in the item.

The first discount would be to the average price…if you haggle enough they MIGHT sell it close to cost.

If theres commission involved..they prob wont discount at all haha.

Some items have a heavy markup, youd be surprised how low some can go.

      • Congrats, great deal.

  • Anyone picked there’s up yet?

      Being delivered this morning

        All the best to everyone.

        • Thanks to you I am able to get the sales to price match. I am a happy man. Cheers brother.

          • @kenjai: How did you manage that?

Two stores i tried with shut me down :(

            • @amityaaron: Done it with applicance online. I just used the live chat to give it a try and somehow they allowed it.

              • @kenjai: Can you share the invoice pls. Thanks!

              • @kenjai: +1 for the invoice share pls my friend!

Will try my luck with appliance online haha.

                • @amityaaron: I just spoke to them and at first they said they will match, then they checked JB and said it is $1995. And she checked her system and said there was only one sold today and it was for $1935. Hopefully @kenjai can share the invoice.

                  • @JaeTee: Ahh yeah @kenjai prob bought on the 23rd when they posted.
Hopefully they can come through for us haha

                    • @amityaaron: https://imgbox.com/ZxXddfpo

                      Sharing is caring, brothers.

                      • @kenjai: Thank you so much!

@JaeTee let us know how you go, ill try sometime after the public holidays

                      • @kenjai: I just tried using.

They said they can only price match a sale that was done within 7 days.

Also said your invoice was probably a price match from another sale and they would only match something if another store was on sale and if i could get proof of it.

                        Hahah…

Did you say anything specific to get them to match?
Ill try again with another agent later.

                        • @amityaaron: I used the invoice from above to get it priced matched, and it was well over 7 days when I tried. I guess it all depends on the person you speak with. I tried with a microwave the other day with an active sale link from Bing Lee and they told me they are not doing any price matching anymore ( I managed to chat again with the same dude that sold me the tv)

                          • +1

@kenjai: Appreciate you taking the time to reply my friend!

Sounds like its just the luck of the draw, ill try everyday until someone puts the sale through haha.

                  • @JaeTee: Check the comment below.

                    • @kenjai: For anyone following along.

I have tried about 4-5 times with online chat to price match…all are refusing to match due either being "That price is too low" or "we only price match current sales" or "we do not price match at all".
All reasons that are contradicted by them price matching it once before haha.

Seems like you got lucky @kenjai

                      • @amityaaron: I also tried 1-2 times with the same result over the holidays. Basically only wanting to price match the current lowest price available.

                      • @amityaaron: Damn! sorry to hear.

Thanks OP, I managed to get this TV with even better deal. Called one store today and managed to convince to do better price considering yesterdays $1495 price (staff had no idea abt this pricing error or any sale at this price), he said he can't go below $2300. But then I asked him to talk to his manager to give me some better price (was not excepting this pricing error price offered at all). But surprisingly got call back from him and he offered me same TV (last one in that store) for $1590 with below extras given for free.

So I wasted no time (travelled 80km to store) and paid for TV, didn't even need to show any receipt from other with this price tag. So in the end I got TCL 75" C835 TV, total 5 yrs warranty (3 yrs from TCL and 2 yrs from JB), Ffalcon 2.1 Channel 200W Soundbar (I know this is probably not good at all, I didn't even asked for soundbar, guy just gave it to me for free. I said can I not have this and TV price reduced, but he said no) and free delivery of TV tomorrow.. Picked up this soundbar from the store already. Paid $1595 alltogether. Guess I'm extremely lucky this time.

    • what a bargain! was that brand new in box or floor stock? im contemplating one of these or the sony x90k

      • +1

        Brand new

    • +1

Can you please share the receipt? Also which state is this on? Worth a try locally.

      • +1

I'm out now, will upload receipt later on when I'm back home

        • Oh 5 yrs warranty i wouldn't mind that. Does the receipt say how much extra 2 yrs warranty was?

          • @Jklaro: Receipt says 'JB extra care repair', extra care yellow small booklet they have given says its 2 yrs extra warranty for all Electrical items between $500 - $2000. In this booklet they have hand-written all warranty dates like when TCL warranty starts and finishes, when JB warranty starts and finishes.. all together 5 yrs..

            • @Trek: When I bought my Samsung soundbar, they also offered that warranty. Basically for any electronic product over 500, first yr Samsung Warranty, second year JB will get it fixed. The extra warranty will cover a swap for the next 3 years.

            • +1

@Trek: Hey man any chance you can upload receipt?

    • This guy ozbargains

    • And it's definitely the 75"?

      • +1

Lol… yep, its 75" .. I tripple checked its 75" before paying, haha.. Receipt says model '75C835' which is 75"

        • Hey just a reminder can you send the receipt please. I want to try add 2 yrs extra warranty for $100.

        • you got very lucky my local said they cant discount it at all from 2495.

    • +3

Our TV got delivered yesterday, definitely brand new in sealed box and its 75".. did setup it up, looks awesome, wish there was 85" model available in this series, Onkyo inbuilt speaker sound quality is much better than our other 75" TV which is Panasonic. I did setup my Home Theatre as well which is much better… Now need to adjust TV settings to get best out of it (for now using it in Movie mode). For those who have this 75" TV what settings you guys are using?

Here is the receipt for those who wants to try their luck (in the receipt you will see TV itself is just priced for $1310) - https://imgbox.com/KnEJSep2

      • let me know if you find some good settings i ended up going out and paying close to full price yesti, not very ozb of me but i couldn't be bothered waiting any longer.
if your gaming too make sure you change the settings through the tv while your on your consoles source.

        • Damn that is a bugger, but understood. Hope the Samsung Money comes back soon!

          • @boxall: i got my refund this morning! have you not got yours yet?

            • @bob98: Ebay is still showing…PAID!!!! No sign of a refund.

              • @boxall: sent a dm will see if i can help at all

  • Response from JB live chat "unfortunately we dont price match past sales item from the past at that cost"

    :( bad luck this time.

  • Price seems to be active again
    Edit: nvm different size
