    Something that big with the extremely limited control authority of a 3 channel seems slightly terrifying to me to be honest - a great way to damage walls or faces. Get something smaller for inside or something more capable for outside.

    So many things wrong with this.

    A: RC helicopters are not easy to fly, even ones with gyros, especially ones operated on AM CB frequencies. Get a quad instead. Much eater to learn and control.
    B: AM radio bands that operate on CB frequency. First truck or car that goes by that has a AM CB radio in it could interfere with control.
    C: At this size, once wound up and running it is going to demolish anything it goes near. This has "finger/face remover" written all over it.
    D: There is no way this should be flown inside anything smaller than a large basketball arena
    E: WTF is 3.5 channel? What is the .5 part controlling?
    F: Misleading store name made to look like like an affiliation with this site.

      E. Half- channels are not proportional controls like the sticks are

        A: Because the logical jump from RC helicopter is a "bike"
        B: No whining about B???
        C:Yes, because an adult operating it cancels out any possibility of injury from an out of control helicopter.
        D: OP says it's safe to fly "inside", and it really isn't for much the same reason you don't drive your car in the house, but you could in a basketball arena if you wanted to.
        E: So, again, what does this .5 channel operate? And how many of those "3" are "half channels"??
        F: Yeah, this site has been operating for longer, so your point is?

        My points stand. It's operating on a CB radio band, is analogue and open to interference. It is not safe to fly inside due to its size and even with a gyro, RC helicopters are hard to fly. It is also large enough to do damage to any person, animal or object in the (very highly likely) event of it going out of control.

        Your only sensible suggestion was to avoid this and get a bike instead.

          AM CB radio in it could interfere with control. - RC planes have been flying for decades on these channels and it just doesn't work like you may think…

            @Heaps for Cheaps: Most RC planes from the last “decade” have been using FM or digital frequencies right up in the 2.8GHz range. Hell, could make that from about the last 3 decades or more. Using 27mHz is just a cheap, shitty and dangerous way to cut corners. Most RC analogue systems for RC anything (cars, boats, planes) that still use AM analogue signals are usually 29mHz, 36mHz or 40mHz.

            And it works exactly how I think it does on AM CB bands. An old AM CB radio will 100% interfere with an RC plane on that same frequency. There is no way your tiny little 0.1w hand transmitter is going to overpower a 5w AM CB transmission.

    I had one of these back in 2009/10, before the drone craze, used to fly in public parks, rather difficult to control at altitude but ok for about 5m height, 25m radius. Propellers prone to break, I had to replace a pair after every 3rd flight or so. Batteries, at best 15 minutes. Wind, forget it, uncontrollable…
