BRITA Liquelli Cool Water Filter Jug (White) + 4 MAXTRA Filters AUD39.95 Shipped!

80

It's a pretty good deal, considering the fact that 3 filters cost $39 at KMart (correct me if I'm wrong). From the previous MAXTRA deal, 3 filters went at $22.60, delivered from Amazon as well (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/75488).

Usually get them for under $30 when they are on special at Kmart. I liked the deal from last december better Jug+6 filters for 39.95 shipped.

    • There goes another awesome deal that I missed… :/

  • Good deal, not great.

tbh.. the new design isn't any good it's too tall to fit under some taps.

    • I google imaged it and it seems alright. It's just 1.5x taller than regular cups. The again, I haven't seen it in real life so I'll update again when mine arrives in the mail.

Hmm, considering 3 from BigW still costs $28 @ $9.3/ct (everyday price) vs $39.95 for 5 including the starter one inside the jug, at $7.99/ct, if they dnt provide a starter one then 4 @ $9.99…, not worth it.

    IMHO, its an OK deal.

    • I think you'll find it's 3 + 1, not 4 + 1.

lol holy crap at the new design…so i have to take the jug to my laundry tap!

    • Maybe you'll have to take it to the garden hose tap. :)

Just got 4 for $28 @ Target last week during their sale.

Buy them in bulk from Amazon.co.uk - much cheaper per filter.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/BRITA-Midnight-Water-Filter-Annual/d…
works out to £58.71 delivered (about $90) for a regular size jug and 12 filters…

    or just filters:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/BRITA-MAXTRA-Water-Filter-Cartridges…
    £55.89 delivered (about $85) for 12 filters.

even at that price, i think it's still overpriced…
it's not that these filters do any serious water filtering other than changing the taste and perhaps softening the water(?).. it's just a charcoal filter.
