You can get a very similar cable from Amazon/eBay etc for around $17.

    E.g. this one.

        • I am happy with my wife thanks.

Monster products have a ridiculous margin. Even at this price the store is probably making 50%.

    They are not anything special.

Bargain, I paid $299 for this 2 years ago.

Also bought some of their HDMI cables for $499 each.

Must of been an exceptional sales person at Harvey Norman. Hope you bought the $359 5 year extended warranty with it for a piece of mind

Don't support Monster. They are overpriced.

  • I remember shopping at Harvey Norman 25 years ago and Gerry asked if I want to come to the back and do a comparison with his 'monster.'..

I said 'sure!' and he led me to a display of 2 identical TV's, one with a Monster Cable and one with a standard cable… The monster cabled TV looked better, but when I peered to the back, the monster was using a SVHS cable vs a RF cable for the comparison setup… Felt scammed because it was a deceptive test, and ever since then I shunned Monster cables.

Was that on MardiGerri Gras day #GERRYPRIDE

  • I'm thinking no, but do these work with a Nintendo Switch?

Gerry Harvey "Monster hdmi cables work with anything, even if the device lacks hdmi."

      • They are so good they make sound and light waves come out of your device and give you a sensory massage.

Anyone know of this will work with an iPad Pro? Google isn’t helping me with this at at all despite my best attempts.

That's quite a poor attempt. First result

      • Useful. I read that page before posting. It says with an adapter it is possible. Is this an adapter or just a cable. Is a cable an adapter as well?

I note Monster also sell an adapter which appears to also be a very short cable. https://www.monsterproducts.com.au/product/usb-c-to-hdmi-ada…

Clearly with your superior understanding you’ll have the answer but don’t worry. I’ll see if there’s someone helpful here instead.

        • Fair enough. Yeah, be fine. Most of the other cables of this type list compatibility with iPad.

They're probably the same thing with different connectors.

        • Is this an adapter or just a cable. I

          its both. Adaptors convert.

          Probably not with that attitude.
