    Link to screwdriver?

    • I’ve removed it from the title as Richard has posted it

Because you get screwed by eBay

      • Yeah but it was the gift cards that did it

  • For eBay Plus members only.

    • Worth the $5

      • Yup - but for context my post was aimed at OP's title since previously it didn't mention that it was exclusively for eBay Plus members only.

    Any reviews on the desk?

  • Are there any Google TV boxes that take aerial input for free to air? I have a Vodafone TV box that does just that, but was looking for something the same for a family member.

    • I think the problem you'll have is even if you do find an alternative to the Vodafone TV, it will probably be a brand with less QC, and therefore an inferior product.

There are a few other options.

There's something like this that I've done before on a Google TV: https://www.matthuisman.nz/2017/08/kodi-freeview-au-iptv-set…

Although I think it sometimes runs into issues because of the Google TV's small storage (I have to clear the cache in Kodi to get it to work sometimes).

Alternatively you can do something like an aerial box or something that also streams to the TV, but I think the Kodi option is a lot smaller outlay.

EDIT: As an addition, with the Kodi/Matt Huisman option, if you've got time, you can play around with Kodi to suit your needs. For example, when I open the app, it loads straight into the TV guide.

      • Thanks for the detailed reply. Was just hoping for something out of the box and uncomplicated, given I was looking for my Dad.

        • Fair enough. Makes sense. I will just leave it on - once it's setup it's pretty straightforward. The Matt Huisman guides are pretty good for a beginner, you probably just want a bluetooth keyboard attached as you have to type a few URLs.

You could try a cheap Foxtel Now box first to test it out (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/foxtel-now-box-netflix-compatib…), but I do believe you need a Foxtel Now account (terms in the Kogan ad indicate that, too).

"Although I think it sometimes runs into issues because of the Google TV's small storage"

This drives me insane, and no attempt to use a USB as storage has worked so far (wasted a fair bit on adapters and micro SD cards). Could do so much more with the GTV using Matt's plugins if there was space. Foxtel Go throws tantrums when the cache is full too, a real pain.

    • Foxtel Now 4K (Android OS) box would be good.

      • Oh, yes this looks similar and could do the trick.
I hope you don't need to be a Foxtel customer to use it?

        • You don't need an active subscription. Just need a Foxtel now account. New account can be created with 10 days free subscription, them immediately cancel. You can continue to use Foxtel box.

    Thanks OP!
Looking at 100% feedback for the sit stand desk seller, I have ordered one with black stand + 150cm walnut table top .. similar products at different seller are offering a single motor or slightly less lengthy table tops compared to this

    Order 3 desks thanks

    • Wow, why so many?

      • For our business

        • Haha I actually visualised 1 person going from desk to desk (set at different heights)

  • +1

Yes please can anyone share their feedback if they bought from them in their last deal?
Is 600mm depth enough for 27" monitors?

    750mm x 1500mm was for $284 from them in Nov 22

  • Tempting for both.

  • FFS, my account is still registered on ebay UK!,
can't change to AU so can't get eBay plus

help suggests to setup a new AU account (fine, start from 0 again) but, refuses to accept either of my CBA debit or credit cards,
then immediately suspends my new AU account permanently for being dodgy.
now trying to set up brand new 3rd account, lol

They can change it. I transferred my UK account to AU many years ago.

      • Finally got it to go through, had to setup a new account in Edge (normally use Chrome)
ensure the debit card phone number matched the primary address phone number,
and go through checkout twice as 'an error has occurred'

Order's in, white legged wallnut topped 150cm

aaaaand. that new account's been suspended!
wonder if they're going to try to extract eBay plus payments…FFS

  • I bought this150cm wide desk from them late last year, very happy with it. I have 2 monitors side by side - 34" and 32". Perfect fit.
Installation instructions attached to the package are a complete mess, but they attach a link to a youtube video, this makes it very easy to follow.

From memory it was cheaper then…
