For the size of the pouch I thought it was over priced just my thoughts.

This is why we just had another rate rise.

PS5's selling more than RRP is also a contributor..

This is what I have and think has more pockets then OP's one

    • Posted EDC looks too expensive, other looks like ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ as an everyday

  • Definitely not worth RRP. I used this pouch till I upgraded to their Tech Kit then I changed to the Aer Slim Pouch and I’m using the Evergoods CAP2. Bellroy make great products but their Classic Pouch is pretty basic.

    • What's your use case?

      • I use the above mentioned cases for my EDC tech stuff. So powerbank, cords, small USB-C hub for my iPad Pro, Leatherman Skeletool with bit kit, usb stick, cleaning cloth, mini super glue and lighter.

I use various cases depending if I’m carrying my regular edc backpack or sling, or my day trip backpack or one of my travel packs.
That way I can swap cases around depending on my needs.

    • The evergoods CAP2 is fantastic (I bought one a few weeks ago) but I still can't see how they can justify the price.

      • Bloody brilliant case. I have close to half a dozen tech kits and the CAP2 is tied with the Peak Design Tech Pouch as my favourite.

      • Yes, expensive. But even considering the R&D and the quality materials it’s overpriced. I got it on sale thankfully.

        • Where from mate?

          • @Jfi2ee: Maybe from Rushfaster, I’m not sure sorry.

  • Using a green one at the moment. It's a noticeable improvement over a cheaper tomtoc pouch.

Ultimately, both fulfil the same purpose so it comes down to things like how much improved fabric, build, etc matter to you.

    • You have much experience with Tomtoc?

I've been eyeing a laptop pouch thingo for a whileee now, haven't had any first hand accounts on the brand though..

I know your question wasn’t directed at me, but I thought I’d chime in. I purchased a Tomtoc case for my MacBook Air and I was very happy with it. Great quality for the price. The padding was fantastic and zippers were smooth.

      • Yeah, I have three laptop cases, two pouches and a switch hard cover. I've been very happy with the quality at the price point.

These are the laptop cases I have -

Can also vouch for Tomtoc. Decent laptop cases

      • Hey, thanks to everyone for commenting!

I'm super keen to pull the pin now, due to move overseas in the next couple months so will definitely keep an eye out and pull the pin on it when I can get a little OzBargain.. 😅

This is the one I was looking at. Looks really sleek IMO.

  • I can vouch for bellroy products, have their classic backpack, Insanely expensive but super high quality and really nice to carry

  • Echoing that it looks a bit small.

I personally think the Peak Design tech pouch is a tad too small as well. The PD toiletries bag is slightly bigger and can even fit a Switch in it.

      it looks a bit small.

      That's what she said

  • Why would anyone need this? I've got heaps of airline amenity kits from flying business…

    An expensive non-fasionable purse.

      It's European!

Came to the comments to try figure out what this was and why it was $45… can get a makeup bag for a lot cheaper to do the same thing in case anyone would like an alternative

I want one but how is a damn carry purse so expensive, now I understand what women go through.

See that little logo tag on it? That's why.

  • Back to $75 ☹️

I've gone over friends Bellroy stuff and it's nice, but the smaller stuff just seems super overpriced. I get the value of a backpack which has specific build strengths and features, but the small stuff seems super niche, and more designed to be collected as part of the other bellroy stuff.

This is what I use for cables, power banks, chargers (GAN), usb drives and a usb-c hub. $6.98 so I splashed and have one for work bag and one for my travel bag.

    • Looks good but it’s not flat enough for my use

  • +1

Show's over, back to being even more overpriced for what it is.

  • I am using this one waterproof fabric with a YKK zip, good for laptop charger, cables and wireless mouse
