  • Im concerned about the sllection options in "style name" seems like they have way too many options incljding iron wolf but all out of stock apart from HDD pro ? What ever that is

pretty sure it's a way for the seller to save money charged by amazon by having fewer "ads"

Ahh good tactic, gosh amazon needs to fix some things, the scam ssd and fake 5G blockers are bad enough 🤣

saw this, but wouldn't you rather just order the Exos instead from EastDigital eBay?

  • Gave me a price of A$762.50 for 2 drives?

    • some of the discount is applied in the cart

  • Just wondering if anyone has had an experience with this…if I do 2 separate orders, would they be considered separate for international fees, even if Amazon ships them together?

  • Good price and no shucking required 😁

  • New HDD'S are coming out with larger capacity and price adjustments to follow it might seem like a deal atm but once new drives come out you might have buyers remorse I guess wait and see?

    • Seriously how much pr0n do you guys have.

      • 12TB nah just 8GB im not that bad 😂

    • It won't have any effect, hard drive prices (per tb) haven't moved in the last 5+ years.

  • I bought two of these exact HDD from Amazon US, they turned up extremely well packaged. I have a sneaking suspicion the delivery guy might have just thrown the box over my fence but that is neither here nor there…

Bought these a while back and couldn't take the clicking noises they're prone to making, particularly at night. Stuck with wd reds instead. Though depending on the location of your pc/nas, this may not be an issue for most people.

    • i actually found them very quiet. I have a white label WD shucked from an external, and it IS really loud.

    What's this about bad packaging?!

    • Amazon ships these in less-than-ideal bags and boxes fairly often. At the end of the day, a powered-off hard disk is pretty robust though, so as long as the original packaging is intact, they are fine. YMMV but i've bought a dozen or so from Amazon US over the past few years and haven't had any issues or DOA
