I am feeling Boost is really happy they have now found a new way to raise capital 😆

Did I miss a memo? What happened?

      • +4

Boost Mobile became a registered charity

    • -8

These mobile plan promo prices for the 1st month only are a complete waste of time.
So much trouble to save a couple of bucks.
And this is a cashback deal - not even a genuine cash discount.

Personally I look out for the heavily discounted 12 month plans as do many other smart OB faithful.

      EXAMPLE
I got 12 month 60GB plan with Amaysim during Black Friday week 2022 for $60 (Half price)
Now that was a GREAT DEAL!
No need to think about changing for 12 months
And I will be looking out for it again this November

      • This deal is 45GB per month. I use that in 2.5 weeks.

      • +3

You are clearly not who this deal is targeted to.

This deal will get you $4.30 Profit + a phone number, which can be used to sign up for numerous other deals in the month. Or you can use it as a churning to leave your current telco and then jump back in for that sweet new customer bonus.

        See here

This is his last 10+ downvoted comment in a Boost Mobile deal.

      • Everyone has different opinions, but for me. I mainly use for international call, and data are for my kids to chew.

My personal plan doesn’t come with international call so this come in handy and free

  • -3

Cashback will not be approved if the code is not listed on Cashrewards.com.au

    • +7

      It is there

      • Nice prank! That’s really impressive — are you a hacker?

  • +1

I think this is up there in terms of how much profit your could get, though I have heard of some users not having the full amount credited at the end

  • +2

I did 5 orders lol. And now I'm getting "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."

    Hopefully no issues lol

    • All with the same personal details? I thought the limit was 2 per day.

      • I did actually do 3 late last night with the $2 profit and 2 today.
        So that must be it.

        • +1

So you’re able to slip an extra one in when the sun goes down?

          • @tharlow: Yeah, not sure what the go is from yesterday, but since I've done two today that must be why it's been rejecting.

I wonder if it will have trouble tracking on CR's end if I use a different email, with same delivery address and name.

EDIT: Just re-read the log, actually did 4 yesterday lol

            • @snoopydoop: I did 3 today until they couldn't process my order anymore

              • @mcha9776: I haven't even done one this time around and they couldn't process my order ¯_(ツ)_/¯

                • @Mibo: I did 2 a little over 24hrs ago but I'm getting the "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later." :(, (I've purchased 4 total in the last 30 days)

                  • +1

@FLICKIT: Did you use the same card to pay? I think it is the real cause rather than other factors.

                    • +1

@Neoika: Yep, ty, I might try another..

Edit: tried another card, same result..

                      • @FLICKIT: OK, thanks for the info. It never happened to me. Maybe coz I purchased them over a long period of time moderately, as early as late 2020 mentioned here.

    • Is later a day, hour, or minute? My guess is a second

      • I tried again twice, once immediately afterwards, and once a couple of minutes later. With different payment method to be sure. It might be what jonomatic has said above.

        • +1

After 3 order to the same address, I changed the address to work address and different payment method it allowed me again for another 3. 🥳

          • @noelhoi: And the same name/email/contact number? Or different?

    • I ordered 5 last year 2 is sep and 3 in oct and now it's same error as yours, sorry we are unable to process your order. Not sure how it works with boost

  • +2

Anyone have a list of sign up / referral offers you can get with a new mobile number?

Eg Oporto $5, Max Brenner $5, Uber $10, Guzman burrito…

    • +2

Someone mentioned JB hifi in yesterday's post!
Birthday offers and free trials are another one.

    • Liven $10

      • I have tried liven before but the app recognised I was using the same device

        • +1

I will try again tonight with a new number but same device.
It worked early 2022 when I used same phone+new email+new number

        • +1

Can confirm it works. New email and phone number, promo code 10liven

    • +2

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/list_of_birthday_deals

My top ones are Nandos/Gomez/BoostJuice, and most important JBHiFi.

      • Gomez (GuzmanYGomez?) isn't on the linked list. What do they offer?

        • Free burrito when you sign up.

          • @Mibo: Anything specifically birthday related? Or just sign up

    • +4
      • Looking for exactly this kind of thread. Thanks

        • The list is very similar to birthday deals but should have its own page too.

    • Uber needs a different device as well.

      • +1

I did it via a incognito browser on my computer, used a different card, and did pickup rather than delivery to my address.
Probably should have done VPN too, if doing it too many times, but seemed to work.

    • Goddammit. I just created another section in Birthday deal wiki. Feel free to add/let me know things to add.

  • +1

Does anyone know if you can use this to recharge? Or is it only for new numbers/port-ins?

    • u only get cashback when sim is activated within their designed date.

so a definite no if you want to use it as recharge instead.

you can port in & out and back in to use it for another month though :)

  • +3

Anyone got an accurate feel on when the yearly SIM will be back on special?

Love a deal, and I’ll grab this (thanks), but I can’t be jumping around every 4 weeks, and varied usage patterns (hence 12mth being perfect)

    • +10

I can’t be jumping around every 4 weeks

You really need to exercise more than that

      • LOL
        Well played

        ——
        Found it currently. $161/year sim

  • Cashrewards wont honour manual entries if your adblocker is active. They used to allow manual submissions but for Boost they havent.

Really disappointed, im out of pocket $40-$60

  • +3

    High profit-margin on this one.

    • +12

I don't get out of bed unless there is a Boost sim deal with profit.

    • +1

With profit Boosters like this, will repay mortgage in no time! 🥳

  • +5

My last boost purchase is not tracked :(
    Lost $12 there

    • +1

At least they can keep the lights on at Boost Mobile HQ for a little longer

      • -2

Its Telstra , so dont need to worry about chump change for them
They will throw even $50 cashback soon for the 365 day plans if people dont bite these offers

    • Just get a refund from boost, pretty easy with the web chat. Mine didn't track last time either.

    • Yeah, me too. I went through all their hoops through the app and have not heard back. This one tracked immediately.

  • +1

Nice. I get paid $4.30 profit for my data for my up coming road trip. Tracked instantly.

  • Bought: 08:38am
    Tracked: 08:40am

  • Is this the most profit from boost by far?

    • End Dec’22 they had 3.88 profit which is my first ever rinsing Boost numbers, which was paid out recently on 21/02/23

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought 2. Tracked in a few seconds.

  • Ive bought a couple of these kind of deals but I dont think they get approved on time. Any idea how soon these should be approved? Thanks!

    • A couple of months, or whenever TA decides to temporarily loosen his sphincter

    • +3

      2-3 months.

My purchase on 27/12/22 & 31/12/22 got approved on 21/02/23. Purchase on 3/1/23 isn't approved yet.

      • Bought this first time and cashback is pending aproval from Boost.
Do I have to keep the prepaid service running for 3 months until cash arrives in my account or I can burn or port out the sim after 28days of activation ?

        • You don't need to keep it running. As long as you have activated the sim within 30 days of ordering, then you can just let it expire or port out.

      • +1

        3/1/23 & 21/1/23 purchases have been approved today (17/3/23).

    • Thanks for your all your inputs. I noticed the approval date used to be 2 months. Starting Jan onwards, approval time is 3 months. Will just patiently wait for them :) thanks!

  • Follow these as I use boost but still don’t understand buying multiple sims when activation has to be within 28 days and it’s not for a recharge. Will boost still transfer to your own number..Thanks.

    • +1

People don't buy these to use the plan it's just for the burner number.

  • Damn

Got used to the 60gb sims for 5g streaming on another phone to the tv.

Can’t go back to 45 gb.

Can’t resist a good profit though

  • +1

    Thanks needed this!

  • -4

45G/28 days is now priced at $30 !

    • +1

There's a coupon you need to apply.

    • +1

      Apply promo code BOOST9

  • Can this deal be activated with a $2 sim bought locally? My current plans is due to renew early next week

  • +3

Probably the quickest tracking of any store I have ever used with CR, the order and tracking email both arrived in seconds after payment.

  • +1

Best one I've every gotten, and just in time before I was about the cave and take the zero profit (after missing yesterday's deal).

    • +1

      Haha same here

  • does it matter if i am a existing user?

    • no, just make sure you have separate transactions if you order more.

Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.

      and

You must return and click through Cashrewards for each new transaction.

  • +1

    Awesome! Thank you, OP.

  • Expires: Mar 9, 2023, 8:00:00 AM

    • I'm sure it said midnight today when I looked earlier.
Cool that it's been slightly extended. Gives me an extra day to activate, as I'll buy tomorrow now.

  • +1

Why are they giving these away for a profit? When will it end?

    • Its a virtual thing with no real value for boost. Cashrewards probably gets a share and they hold money on a large scale so even the current interest earned on holding money at such a large scale will probably be profitable.

  • +4

I keep purchasing them one by one those deals are great!

Can someone enlighten me on how relevant it is to buy 5 of them when it is specifically written that you have to activate the card within 28 days of purchase? How many phones do you guys have ?

  • +1

    Good deal, cheers

  • Do I need to allow cookie for cashrewards.com.au and/or boost.com.au? I normally see "third-party cookie blocking" on websites. Will this affect the tracking?

    • +2

      Just use the Cashrewards app

    • I either use chrome incognito or edge inprivate on the pc/ laptop. Always tracks, when I don’t get the something is wrong error. Unfortunately you still it those errors.

  • Just bought it now and tracked within a minute

  • Hello, to those who purchased multiple sim cards - Did you need to put in separate email addresses for each purchase? I intended to buy 3 cards for my relatives who will be visiting from overseas this month.
