3 Months Amazon Prime Membership for 8,000 Telstra Plus Points, 12 Months Prime for 24,000 Points @ Telstra Reward Store

2860

First post pls be kind!

Amazon Prime membership comes loaded with fast free delivery on eligible orders, world-class entertainment on Prime Video, music on Amazon Music, and ebooks on Prime Reading. (Retail value of Amazon Prime membership is $6.99/month.)

3 months - 8,000 Telstra Plus Points
12 months - 24,000 Telstra Plus Points

Seems like a cracking deal as I noticed Telstra plus points expires at a certain point.

(Note: You may need to have an active service with Telstra to use your points balance. A low-cost Telstra Prepaid SIM from any retailer can be activated for this purpose.)

Mod Note: Redeem your Voucher here after purchase

                            • @Khisanth: Thanks Khisanth. I tried the format you mentioned but still not working on three different browsers. I've redeemed the 12 months, just not the additional 3 months i purchased for 8,000 points

                              • @Goldberg: Me too - Same issue as usual. I'm still waiting to hear back from Amazon support but maybe they really have turned off additional code stacking?

                                • @daanish: I think we'll just get the runaround on this. Telstra will say not our problem, talk to Amazon and vice versa.

                            • @Khisanth: Thanks so much! Finally! Finally worked for me in Firefox, removing the spaces. I had tried FF before, copy and pasting from the Telstra email, with no luck, but removing the spaces (on FF only!) worked for me…

  • This drove me nuts all afternoon going between Amazon and Telstra, no one could fix it for me. Then I tried the above link (landing page) on a computer instead of my phone browser and it worked straight away. So there’s a tip for anyone struggling!

Was this your first redemption or were you trying to stack an additional code?

      • Would like to know as well as I tried Chrome and Edge on my PC but still wouldn't work.

      • First redemption, I couldn’t get it to work!

  • If I need another $9000 points to redeem does anyone know any other ways I can earn or buy more points if I am no longer an active customer of Telstra?

  • Redeemed. Existing Prime customer. Could not redeem the telstra offer via Chrome, worked on Chrome for mobile. Could not redeem voucher code via Chrome on PC browser or mobile. Worked on Microsoft Edge by copy/pasting voucher link into Edge, and signing into Amazon account, it let me redeem immediately for a further 12 months. Now subscribed through to October 2024.

Bit of work but we got there in the end…thanks OP

  • Thanks OP, finally worked on safari for mobile

  • Existing subscriber

have tried the 12 month code on safari desktop and mobile and chrome on desktop and no luck.

Do I need to wait until my current 12 months has expired?

    • found a solution - Went into incognito mode and then tried the promo link > pasted voucher code > signed into account and it has extended it for me!

  • Existing Prime member, worked twice on chrome app on Android, no issues now extended to June 2025 thanks OP

    • Applied 2x 12 months voucher?

  • Tried following in regular and incognito mode and nothing worked. Not sure what else to try.

    1) Chrome on Android
    2) Chrome on IOS
    3) Safari Browser
    4) Chrome on Windows PC
    5) Edge on Windows PC
    6) Firefox on Windows PC

    • I'm the same - I spoke to Amazon and they said I have to wait for existing subscription to end - obviously they have no clue what they are talking about

  • Likewise code is not working on Safari :(

  • Tried edge, chrome, firefox - on Windows
Safari, Chrome and Firefox on IOS
Tried incognito on both and still nothing

Anyone had similar and found a solution?

  • Same problem re using the code from the email (that didn't contain a link) to extend Prime membership.
Tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome and some other variations using Safari User Agents.
    Then on iOS Safari, Chrome.
None worked, all gave the Amazon error message.

    Tried Telstra Plus chat.
Initially they tried to send me to a store. I declined that offer.
Then they tried a bit harder … and have promised an email response in 3 business days.

Worth noting that the Telstra "Things you need to know" states:

For existing Amazon Prime members, the 12-month membership will be added to your account and be applied from your next renewal date.

    • Update (17/5):
Having left it a few days, tried again using Safari on iOS. It worked.
(and no, have not yet heard back from Telstra Plus)

  • I cant seem to make it extend on my subscription. Tried all browser (except Samsung as I dont own one)

Amazon chat said I need to wait for the current sub to expire before using the code.

  • Deleting the spaces worked for me but only on Firefox.

  • So in the MyTelstra App "Offers" section locate Amazon 3 or 12 month redemption offer and refer "Things you need to know".

    Refer the second paragraph below!!!

Offer available to Telstra Plus members. Offer ends 30 June 2023. Eligibility criteria apply. Membership voucher codes must be activated with Amazon by 15 February 2025.

You can redeem multiple codes in the Telstra Plus Rewards Store to use or gift to other people.

After 3 months, roll onto standard monthly auto-renewing membership fees for Amazon Prime (currently $6.99/month) unless you change or cancel beforehand. Manage your auto-renewal membership and notification settings in your Amazon Prime account.

Best to view all comments and search from there. ChillBro figured it out previously 😁

      • thanks for sharing! I did page by page and clearly missed it! I did see the Telstra link though :D

  • $2 Telstra SIM hack gives access to Telstra Plus Rewards points if don't have active Telstra service

Activated $2 Telstra SIM via my Telstra ID. (Free SIM from some hotels, international airports, & tourist spots.)
    Chose to select plan later.

After 1hr, could access Telstra Plus Rewards store to use points. Shows activate service ("recharge to make calls").

Redeemed 1 year sub. (Free Pts from Deals)
    Clicked link through to Amazon.
Worked fine on old account with no subscription.

  • Does anyone know how long I will have to use the code on Prime once Telstra issues it. Does it expire or because you've pre paid it, you can use after few months as well; asking since I don't want to use it straight away but conversion rates are going up on 25th Aug as per Telstra

Actually it's listed under 'Things you need to know' - Membership voucher codes must be activated with Amazon by 15 February 2025.

  • I thought today is the last date, looks like the number of points are already increased to 32000
