I think the name should be Pcie to Nvme?

    • It's M.2 to PCIe because it adapts the M.2 connector to something you can fit in a PCIe slot

Thanks for the correction :D meant to write m.2 nvme ( instead of just nvme ).

I find it confusing since "USB-C to HDMI adapter" means converting my available USB-C port so that I can plug in HDMI device. The same goes with USB to ethernet , VGA to HDMI, etc ..

        • next throw in plug and socket

          and directional input output

          ahh

Yeah to avoid ambiguity it helps to specify what both ends of the adapter are, and in terms of "male and female", e.g. USB-C male + HDMI female

Great if its legit but it sits in that too good to be true category for me… especially with 0 reviews on amazon

  • "Turbofan" with the little blower fan looks like it would be very annoying.

    • It looks like it just have a fan, and not a heatsink. Heatsinks are the way to go as there will be exisiting air flow with the case fans. So no one is buying these hence the discount.

  • Item cancelled by Amazon due to lack of availability….possibly a good thing.

  • I ordered one just out of interest and just got a message it's supposed to be delivered today. I probably won't have time to test it for a few days, but I'm planning to just use to utilise old NVME drive as a bit of extra fast storage for games. I wonder if you can use this as boot drive, although that probably comes more down to your motherboard and BIOS capabilities?
