How it works
1. Download the AFL App on the APP Store or Google Play
2. Click the Shell V-Power banner on the bottom of the APP homepage (just above the tabs) to register and activate the offer
3. Press the redeem now button, and scan the barcode shown in-store at your nearest participating Shell service station

    Shell is almost always more expensive than their competitors near where I live, and I hate the AFL entity, but 10c off per litre might tempt me to download the app.

    seems once u open the barcode, if u close your app and reopen it, the barcode is gone and you have to wait until the next day?

    even if u never used the barcode

    Unfortunately, the chopper isn't as efficient these days anymore. This Shell discount can work out significantly cheaper depending on the area you live in

      That web portal opens to “thank you for joining” screen once you have registered, so you can’t get a new barcode to use.

        I also got the same 'thank for joining' once registered and prompted to re-enter the registration details. I went ahead, and volla the Barcode is displayed.
        And FYI, I browsed the page today to regent new Barcode using the same link as well.

      I used the AFL app 10 cent coupon plus the Coles 4 cent voucher but the 4 cent voucher deleted the 10 cent so I got ripped off. It was too late to rectify. So instead of getting a 14cent coupon, I got 4. I reported it to the AFL but there was nothing they could do but let me know there were some reported glitches.

    Does anyone know if this for diesel as well as petrol?
    Coles 4c discount doesn't work for diesel. You can only get 8 FB points per litre with diesel

    Where does OZB stand on petrol quality, Shell vs BP vs Ampol vs Mobil vs 7-11? I remember reading about BP being the best and 7-11 the worst somewhere. Someone then told me they all came from the same major depots and therefore the same.

      From what I understand, they all get their fuel from the same depot but they add their own 'Additive Packages' to fuels like 95 & 98

      How did it work as I used the AFL 10c then the Coles receipt 4c but it only gave me the 4c. On my final receipt, it reads Disc trigger reversal.
