Is there any snow left in sept/oct!?

Maybe water rafting if it rains heavily.

More like is there any snow left in Aug/Sep. To imagine two day lift ticket is $163, I'd rather fly to Japan and pay $50 a day+night pass where they shut down the field if there's less than 1m cover.

      • What are you talking about? August is the best month.

  • anyone know any queenstown snowboarding deals? thanks

    • don't even think about it.
heard snow is pretty poor this year.
I went a few yrs ago, we had 1cm of ice over brown dirt. Hadn't snowed in 2wks and they were closing the slopes if it didn't snow for another week. That was in late Jul, not to say we had to book months b4.

      • mmm well i am just north of queenstown at the moment on holiday. heading down in a few days. last reports were about 80cm of snow at most fields so was looking for some cheap field passes really.
