Does your business do an onsite quote rather than the inferior aerial desktop excercise? I ask because it seems that desktop quotes suck people in and then when an installer comes who gets paid peanuts says the job can't be done because they don't get allowed enough to do the job. They aerial photos also do not give an accurate measurement. I have been through this 3 times with companies. Is yours any different or just the same?

  • 15kw jinko with a fronius 3ph inverter

    Double storey on colorbond.

    What's the estimate for that

    Any deals for NSW?

  • -5

Can vouch for Andy and his crew. Great to deal with

  • +1

Cannot vouch for these guys. No after sales service.

    • +6

What after sales service were you needing? What went wrong?

      • I won't go into all the detail, but not replying to an email from 17th Jan is one, and I'm still chasing them for a response.

You make it sound like its a discount when it's not.

6.65kw Solar Package for $2090 upfront, was $2490

All you had done is shift it from upfront to interest free loan so no one is saving $400

We are taking $400 off our retail price

Also your website doesn't have details that match this to say it's cheaper than your site.
    Seems very misleading.
Your advertising is anything but trustworthy.
You also have an * next to the price without reference to what the asterisk indicates. Wouldn't touch this company.
They say no hidden costs but no mention of the finer details. Such a bad business model

    • -1

They say no hidden costs but no mention of the finer details.

Yes they did. The listed the additional costs in the post

      • On their website. They mention no hidden cost.
You obviously didn't go through it. The information doesn't even match what the site says so you can't compare

  • If anyone shopping for solar wants some personalised help navigating through the process you could check out https://whichsolar.net.au

      • Lots of good technical information at solar quotes for sure, but its not specific to individual circumstances, and/or if you cant understand the technical stuff it's not helpful.

Nor does solar quotes look over your quotes and help you decide if you have a good one or which one is best. In fact they want you to use their suppliers to give you a quote because they get paid by the suppliers they refer you to.

So there are people who would benefit more from a service like Which Solar?, by receiving personalised help choosing the best system for their specific needs, and a non biased selection of a supplier.
