[eBay Plus] 10x Free Postage Labels (Australia Post & Sendle, All Sizes) for eBay Plus Members until 31/03 @ eBay Australia

2730

Huge credits to @del preston for discovering this deal and I can confirm on my end

Stack with 0% Variable Fee on Next 5 Sales Promotion or 50% off Variable Fees Promotion

I can't seem to find the T&Cs for whatever reason but I am confident all eBay Plus members should have this promo automatically on their accounts. I have checked all of my accounts and they all have the promo automatically applied. See here

You can check with the following instructions via the eBay website:

  1. View your orders here (or on the eBay app, go to 'Selling' tab, then 'Sold'

  2. Click on one of your orders and click on "Purchase another label". You should see the promo under the 'Services' section where you choose your courier service and it should say in green text:

10 FREE Postage labels for eBay Plus members until 31/03

Enjoy :)

  • That's a banger deal, got it on my end too!

  • +3

Thanks this is great! Is there a way to claim those 10 and stash them or I actually have to sell those orders before 31/3?

    • +7

You must use it on any of your orders before 31/3. You can't stash them for next month etc

      • +4

Too sad it is only for 9 days.

  • +4

Nice, used up my sendle already.

    • +1

Never using Sendle again. They charged me $90 for postage and then lost my item worth $400.

      • +1

Lol $90 for postage? To Rural WA? If so, better use Aus post for Rural or regional interstate

  • Damn just posted something an hr back

  • Does this combine with the no variable fees promo?

    • +1

      Yes it does :)

      • +1

        Excellent. Thank you

  • +3

Great find and thanks for sharing! If only I was better at selling than buying on eBay.

    • +1

Would you like a used Xbox?

  • +1

Sendle doesn't post to PO box which is a bummer for some (recently got a sale in eBay which the buyer address is in PO box)

Great that if Australia Post is free as well!

    • Just use AusPost, also free :)

    • +1

You can also block buyer choosing PO box as shipping address :)
      That is what I do.

      • Same here. But now I'll enable it until 31/3 to get more potential sales

  • +1

    Just noticed this too! Bonus!

  • +2

Awesome find OP and del Preston

  • +1

No freaking way. After they turned off the Sendle free labels early I ended up sending two big packages today at my own cost. Argggggh

  • Sounds great but can someone confirm the process as I've had no experience with these before. When I choose Australia Post large satchel it states "Choose only if you have Australia Post packaging. Packaging price not included". I assume this means I need to buy a plain satchel from Australia Post (as opposed to my regular Parcel Post satchel) from Australia Post and then print the label and stick it on?

    • +3

That choice is just to make it easy to calculate the postage cost, you can pick "custom size" and enter your own dimensions and weight and use whatever packaging you fancy.

If you do have Australia Post Satchels on hand then you can pick "Aust Post Packaging" because the sachels are rated to hold a specific volume, negating the need for you to break out the measuring tape and entering numbers manually

      • Thanks, that makes sense.

    • If you have your own packaging, select "Australia Post Parcel Post"

  • Auspost has printer free returns (you show them a code and they print out the label over the counter), does anyone know if they do it for regular labels too?

  • Targeted?

  • +11

Be warned Sendle are terribly unreliable. Slow, lose your items, tough to get compensation. Pain in the ass company.

    • Yes, I sent an item to myself a couple years ago to test their service. The parcel never arrived.

    • They're horrible. I bought a rare second hand item I'd been searching for for months on eBay and they somehow managed to "lose" it. It was a massive box as well, no idea what happened to it. I ended up having to get a refund from the seller and they had to make an insurance claim. I never found out what happened with that

  • Does this have to be used with eBay or can you use it outside of ebay as well?

  • +8

FWIW I would choose Australia Post over Sendle, based on several past experiences.

    • Was going to ask this. I have had the same experience. Anyone used sendle successfully ? I have used it half a dozen times now and each time it has been a disgrace. Auspost is at least generally ok.

      • +2

I've used it 5 times this month, all were on time. Sydney deliveries have always been next day via Couriers Please (their third party courier). If I print the label and it shows Aramex as courier, I don't use the label because Aramex never picks up my parcels

        • +1

This! In sydney with Sendle Couriers Please are fine - always collect/always deliver. Aramex/Fastway - never - just always cancel if they end up being assigned (usually remote/rural locations)

  • +3

Hopefully my items sell lol. You can check by attempting to generate another shipping label for a "sold" order. It should appear there.

  • Wow. It looks like a lot of Ozbargainers are in the business of buying and selling. 😳

    • Saw some nice stuff on the curb with resell value lol

    • Have u seen all the deals on here ? Need to sell to buy more.

      • +4

I see all the deals. I have never sold anything, I only buy what I need or want. This actually makes me suspicious that a lot of people might buy the bargains we post and resell it for a profit (just a speculation). I don't like scalpers.

        • +1

hah good luck scalping on ebay !

Space+Ozbargain. Its not the Ozbargain way to buy a bigger house to fill with cheap goods, that would be against the whole "vibe"

        • Of course there are resellers here.

It’s in the top 30 most visited sites in Australia!

    • Alot of scalping aka brodening I assume…

    • +1

Don't you sell your old latops, phones, videogames, PCs etc. once you're done with them ?

    • +1

With tech I’m a “out with the old, in with the new”.

I don’t want to horde electronics. Better off let someone else that wants it, have it.

PSVR2 just came out. Flogged all my VR1 in a week.

    • +1

Recycle your fund. The savvy consumers would sell stuff they have not used for the last 12 months, while it still have some value. There are plenty of impulse buyers that have stuff stored away in the shed/wardrobe depreciating in value (looking at the drone buyers who flew once or twice 😉)

  • +2

    This appears to be targeted.

    • Are you eBay Plus?

  • Nice - which they had done this earlier in the month - now need to sell some crap in next week so get some freebies!

  • Damn, I have nothing in my sold list because I've sold nothing in a long time.

    • +1

      Same.

How do hoarders like us access this deal?

I need to sell some stuff soon

      • I'd like some tips for this too please?!

  • Great deal if it covers the postage..
So to be clear, "10 FREE postage labels for eBay Plus members until 31/03" - do have to claim by then or need to post/use by then?
Assume it's just an email with labels to print or stickers sent to your address? It sounds like the satchels themselves aren't provided - which is fine i just reuse boxes.

oops don't have anything to send yet so bit pointless unless it stores 10 for the future.

    Cheers,

    • +2

So if you have an eBay order, you can print a free label for it. You have to use it within the month, all the labels expire at the end of the month and you can't store for future use. You print the labels out (not sure if you can take a barcode and have Auspost print it out instead)

It sounds like the satchels themselves aren't provided - which is fine i just reuse boxes.

Yup and If you have your own packaging, select "Australia Post Parcel Post" as the postage option

  • Cheers for the shoutout, @I Smell Pennies ☺️
I knew you’d be much faster and on the ball at posting this than I ever could 😁👏
Hopefully eBay don’t cancel this one early, too 🤞

    • +1

No worries, thanks for telling us about this deal!

      • +1

        Of course! ☺️🌟

  • Does this work if you have free postage for the buyer or only if you have specified a postage price??

    • It works whether you charge the buyer or not

  • +1

Sweeet, have something to post tomorrow and was gonna cost $70ish.

Never printed these at home, usually just put details on box and have the post office measure/weight and tell me the cost.
Presume all i have to do is fill in the dimensions/weight, print it out at home and tape it to the box? then the PO scan and it wont cost anything? pretty crazy deal.

    • Yes print it out and attach to box/satchel then you can drop it off at Red post box or scan it in over the counter…

    • Just interested how you went with this… was it an easy, trouble-free experience?

      • +1

Yeh easy as. Put the dimensions and weight in on Ebay (saved $68.95) and printed the label. Taped it to the top of the box and took it in to the post office, they scanned it and asked if i wanted a receipt and that was the end of it. Hopefully becomes a somewhat regular Ebay promo!

        • Thanks for that, glad to hear there were no issues. I've just had a sale in the last hour so I'm about to go through it now (I won't be saving anywhere near $68.95 though).

  • +1

You could probably exploit this offer to send non eBay stuff to anyone. Just reuse an old order and modify the To details and the dimensions and weight of your goods. Might be useful if you need to send a large item to a friend or relative interstate

    • -3

With promotions right now i.e. 0% variable fee. You pay like 30c just make a listing and sell it yourself lol

    • Testing this now on a buyer return. Re bought another free label from the order, swapped the To/From addresses in a pdf editor and sent the label to buyer. Will save me $25 postage if it works. I feel like the barcode may have To/From postcodes embedded though.

      • I don't think you will have any seller protection as the addresses won't match. Up to you.

      • No way that will work lol - whole system works off the tracking number not the physical label

        • +1

Yeah oh well nothing to lose just want my dodgy buyer to work for the refund really lol

          • @bitcoinorbust: Hey I really wish it would work. I have some things to send too. Only problem on eBay, they might crack it give your account a neg

            • @King Tightarse: Looks like its going to work. Buyer lodged it and expected delivery date seems to indicate it's coming in my direction..

              • @bitcoinorbust: Interesting - please keep us posted

              • @bitcoinorbust: Update? I might need to process one

                • +2

@Sheng: Update: Hit trouble with sorting machines… Was sorted back toward buyer and manually intercepted before delivery. Not sure how it gets though the sorting machines if they dont read the label.

                  • +1

@bitcoinorbust: Update: received it so it works but expect issues at sorting machines. Once it gets sorted to wrong location It gets another sticker which must overrride the tracking number then sent on its way with no tracking updates until onboard till delivery. And the postie showed me the address coming up on his device as he scanned as delivered didnt match, i had to feign ignorance lol

                    • @bitcoinorbust: Interesting. It was a photoshop and not an edit address on postal label right?

      • "barcode may have To/From postcodes embedded"

seems the actual. when I lodged in post office after scanned, they could see all pre-filled info on screen then just double checked TO post code.

your test is good try, let's see what happens :)

    • +1

Yep, can confirm this works fine. Have done it so far for 5 different things I sold on other platforms and had no issue with AusPost tracking. I made a phony $1 listing, bought it myself through another account with the actual customer's address as my shipping address.

      • Good way to get an eBay permaban…

        • If it happens, it happens. I'm just selling some crap out of my closet and I don't use eBay much.

        • eBay has much much more loopholes than you guys think 🤫🫢

  • Anyone else have a problem getting taken to a page which says “something went wrong”?

    • No, I just made a label just an hour ago

    • yep, since yesterday. ebay support said its an internal issue that will be resolved in a "few days" and that I don't have to buy the label through ebay, just go to Aus post and post it there… um yeah

  • Good deal OP shame I don't have anything to sell right now….

  • Anyone knows if for Auspost postage, must the label be printed? Or can it be handwritten like Sendle? Printer is broken lol…

    • Doesn’t look like there is a no printer option for AusPost from checking on my sales.
Could you save the label on a flash drive and print it at your local newsagents? That’s what I used to do.

      • You can download the label as a file yes

  • Time to sell that bowling ball.

  • Is there any option for Australia post to scan it to print or we need to print ourselves?

  • +6

This deal has saved me a fortune. Thanks op. Finally been a great excuse to list heavy bulky items that are normally uneconomical to post.

I've listed my items cheaper than others as I had 5 free listings and offered free shipping. All items sold within 24 hours. Saved $300+ in postage, paid $1.50 in eBay fees and finally flogged off shit that is obsolete to me. Awesome deal.

eBay must be bleeding with others taking advantage of this offer.

    • Now that they sold. What were they?

      • Car parts, vintage computer parts, guitar gear.

    • +2

Thanks for your comments @Muzeeb, glad you were able to put it to some good use and clear your shit. Gotta make way for some future Dell monitors

  • I can't get it to work, have sold a couple of items, and gone through the process as above, and then gives me an error "It was not possible to generate the label. Something is wrong. Please try again later."
Any had the same issue and had any luck?

    • Not sure. I've just generated few labels a few hours ago

      • I've never been able to even when I have to pay from my pocket

        • +1

Try both Aust Post and Sendle, also check that the address is correct. Sometimes the problem lies with the address being in correctly formatted, for example people adding the town name in the street field
