This seems to be a good price for this tablet, Could not find a better price for it in Australia.

PLEASE: I know there are other, better tablets such as Nexus, IPad, Iconia etc. Please consider this deal only - it is not a tablet comparison. Just evaluate whether this is a good price for this product - that is what it is about. I believe this is a good starter tablet or something for the kids.

  I bought one previously because reviews said although it is chunky, it has a great screen and all those ports lackng on an Ipad.
  They do not mention that the USB port is a bit useless as it does not do host mode so you can not get it to read a usb stick or hard drive plus all that micro and mini stuff is very inconvenient.

  Is this a 8GB model? I thought shopping express had a deal back to 2-3 mths ago wih the 16GB model for $199 + $12 shipping?

    Yes, it's the 8G version (see the link…).

    One of the main selling points is the high screen resolution of 1280 x 800, but that does take up power…

  I bought this a few months back when it was on for $199 inc. post. Very good little tablet, never had any issues with lag or anything else.
