This looks to be worth no more than $30

    • main selling point is dual 4K 60Hz

      • It's dual DP 1.2, not DP 1.4

For being thunderbolt 3, disappointing that the USB port is only 5gbps and no power delivery

    No charging pass through?

  • will it work for m1 macbook pro 13 inch?

    I have one of these.
It works, but on a Mac you need to download and install some pretty cr@ppy drivers to make the Ethernet port work.

  • Good price for a "real" TB dock. However I believe it's an old generation with Alpine Ridge chip inside (no Titan ridge means no general USB compatibility, only works with TB devices), and likely the ethernet is a Realtek USB interface (which performs bad on Macs and is shared bandwidth with other USB devices), instead of a PCIe-based NIC (that is way more stable and generally better performance).

  • Wish it had a USB C

I have a similar version of the dock that is all plastic and I had to google around to find the correct drivers. The USB is crap when running 2 displays and ethernet so don't count on that port for serious devices.
