        I got a Big W price match on a discounted Canon printer (at OW) about a month back and then used the discount on top. The irony of it was that OW had reduced their price because Big W had it on sale, but the Big W sale had ended the day before lol

      The 'iPad' is the 'new iPad' aka 'iPad 3'. The original iPad (AFAIK) has been discontinued.

          I'm not sure when it will become active online, but stores open at 9am, so if you get to a store, you could get it in your hands without the wait!

      How do you get further 5% discount with Woolies? Target is subsidiary of Wesfarmers. Wish cards not valid with Wesfarmers stores (eg. Target), only Woolworths Limited stores.

      Or you mean price match with BIG W or Dick Smith?

          You don't need an credit card to make an iTunes account. Just go to iTunes store, look for free games and download it, it will than ask for you to create an account. It shouldn't ask for credit card like that. Not for me anyway. Try it.

      Yeah I bought a ipad from target a few weeks ago and it took them 2 working days to confirm my order, another 3 days to post my order and it arrived at the store another 2 days later.

      All up it took me about a week and a half to get my ipad after ordering.

    I went to jb hi fi (preston, vic) n they would only match it but they were taking to long on trying to confirm prices as if im lying n end up standing around for 30mins so I went good guys and they said there is no way we will even match that price even though its their policy n they said go talk to manager n he will say same thing?! To sick to put up a fight so I went target n put the highest model with case on lay-by!! Thanks whoever posted this for my early birthday present :D

    I just came back from the good guys in Glendalough. They were quite nice to make price match with target where I couldn't find any stock in Perth. Took two 32Gb white wifi in 595 each, nice deal!

    PS，I also went to bigW and DSE at first, BigW refused to match the price as they said this is just a one day sale rether a regular sale price; and DSE said the price is over their cost~ So if u guys in WA still want to catch this promotion like me…try the good guys, they tend to close at 5:00.

      Not a big deal..and moreover this is just a rumor..how many such rumors have we already seen concerning ipads..can't wait forever for the better product..at some point of time I think we will have to make a decision a purchase :)

      I doubt it's going to happen. If it does, all the owners of the existing "faulty" iPads would demand for a replacement. Did you see an "upgrade" to the "faulty" iPhone 4 antenna? Not till iPhone 5.

          If it's "overheating" and affects operation of device then yes that is fault but higher than expected heat on case after playing 3D games etc isn't a fault as such.

          I don't think most retailers will give you a refund for a perfectly working device just because it can get a little hot after intensive use.

    I called and asked what was the go with delivery and she said "for security reason we can't deliver to your home". So the money i saved buying the ipad while on special i now have to use that money to pay for fuel to get to the closest Target which is 45 minutes away:(

      I'm sure you have read the text highlighted in bold about item must be collected in store but still went ahead with the purchase because the deal was too good to be missed.
