    2 wires goes into your garage system, powered via a usb plug, then you need to hook up a magnet mechanism for open/close detection.

    installation information available on their website. not rocket science nor electrician required.

    You just attach the wires to screw terminals (order doesn't even matter) that are or can be used for a wired wall switch to open the garage door (on my opener which terminals to use for a wall switch were labelled) and then attach a sensor on the door itself, it's very easy.
