How much are cardboard moving boxes these days?

Thanks ordered a bunch. Last time those blue ones came in handy. Looks like these are heavy duty ones. Much better.

  • Great deal! Spent $6 for Ikea's 76L bags the other day.

    • same as me i brought 4 ikea ones

I used the blue ones to move recently and they were terrific for clothes, shoes, towels, cushions etc. They're a good rectangle shape and stack efficiently, plus they held up surprisingly well considering how cheap they are. Would recommend.

I wonder how these would go as cheap but robust check-in luggage for air travel…??

  • No more stock? Listing goes to nowhere (error) for me

  • Cheers, managed to get some. Link wasn't working but found it through the bunnings search.

What's the use case for these bad boys? Moving house??

    • +2

Anything really.. Honestly it would be pretty good as organising stuff like putting all your work stuff or school uni education stuff in one bag.

But yeah anything really.. Might even work as a sleep over bag.

Someone on bunnings left a review saying it was really good for shoes.

Schools might even find these good for storing sports stuff although the logo might be an issue for some schools.

Thanks very much for your detailed reply. I am keeping my eyes on the next sale as this might be good for my garage……

        • that’s what i’m buying them for ..i brought a storage rack for my garage and hoping the bags fit ok

  • How about using them as travel bags??. Being light weight won't add to the overall weight of the luggage. Particularly if you are a little tight on a luggage allowance?

    • Definitely not. These only hold up once or twice during a move, won't be able to handle the luggage abuse. You want the ones from your local dollar shop, the red/blue and white banded ones. A friend of mine calls them 'The Chinese Bag' because she first saw them when she went to China in the 80s. Been using them since.

$1.90 if you have a powerpass.

  • How many backpacker can fit inside? (assume dismembered)

      This comment right here officer.

  • These are pretty much disposable, only works with stuffed animals, cushions and other lightweight bulky items. Now a more fitting price. Bought to replace the old ones that had failed lol Thanks OP.

  • not sure why onepass doesn't work for free delivery…

  • is this good for grocery at coles?
