$3 Bonus Promo Terms - read carefully as it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then purchase an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards (link is on the activation page).
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made by 4pm AEDT 29/03/2023. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEDT.
  3. Activations are capped at 5000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEDT (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.
  5. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of the associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies to the transaction.
  7. Gift card purchases through the Gift Card Page are available only via desktop or mobile browsers. They are not available via the Cashrewards App.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  9. Cannot be used in conjunction with Cashrewards Refer-a-Friend or any other promotion that may be active at this time.

    Not able to make payment on Firefox with ANZ. Looks like cashrewards is using an iframe to for truerewards.com payment page. And iframe is blocked by Firefox

              @tightarse: I just called them, they said there is nothing they can do. They said it is automated, and to ring my bank and it is an issue with 3DS. Might sit this one out. Bank is UP if that helps anyone. Cheers

                  I just tried a different card though, and payment finally went through and GC received. So seems to be an issue with my bank.

            • @tightarse: Same error as above occurred after I submitted my credit card details and the $30 payment was deducted from my account.

              I called True Rewards and spoke with Ruben who was not very helpful. Just said theyโ€™re aware of the issue and that the problem is with my bank so contact them about the charge.

              The problem is not with my bank as Iโ€™ve been charged but have not received the gift card I paid for. Very disappointing!

    Why does it say 'Device data gathering' upon payment and take a minute to confirm? What malware is built into the payments portal? Very concerning message on the loading spinner. Perhaps your UX team should take a look

    Just checking — how come the previous credit card details saved on the CR account no longer appear?
    I used to simply add CVV while checking out (as my card details were saved, which was great convenience) but now it is asking me to add all the card details again in order to send an SMS code to my mobile device? Is this how the check-out process will be, moving forward?

          Hi. Your card details were never saved by CR, they were saved at True Rewards' end. As per the details in the OP, they have now changed their payment gateway so previous card details are no longer saved by True Rewards. Hope this helps.

              • @kerfuffle: I am using an ANZ VISA - and a number of other people have reported OTP requirements/issues here. Each time I enter card details and proceed to purchase, it says "a code has been sent to your mobile device"

    Don't trust the system as I have quite a few such promotion dollars declined, and their replies are always like there is no purchase made etc., but I clearly recall that I purchased gift cards like this. I will pass and let others try their luck.

      I can assure you that if you activated a bonus and purchased a gift card, it won't decline. If you clearly remember a GC was purchased, it will show in your My Rewards with the same date stamp as your activated bonus. You can check the full list of promos in this thread. Please check this link for your reference - " I received quite a few relies from you team, on my Amazon gift card purchases like this, I am not sure how do you define 'qualifying'. These rewards first appeared already in my account, and after a few months, they were declined.

        • On 21/12/2022 we ran this promo. Does an Amazon GC purchase appear in your My Rewards for this date? If not, means you did not purchase an Amazon GC via CR and that's why the bonus is declined.

            • @[Deactivated]: What declined? The $3 bonus, or the cashback for the gift card? Again I ask you, are there 2 separate transactions in your My Rewards dated 21/12/2022? One for the $3 bonus, and one for the purchase of the $30 Amazon gift card? And yes, the bonus appears immediately upon activation. This does not mean it will be approved unless the conditions of the offer are met.
