Hi everyone. We've increased the cap to 5000 activations to give more members the chance to grab a small bonus for Christmas. Once activated, you have until 4pm AEDT to complete your purchase (even if activation limit is reached). You'll no longer be able to activate the offer once the cap is reached.

$3 Bonus Promo Terms - read carefully as it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then purchase an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards (link is on the activation page).
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made by 4pm AEDT 21/12/2022. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEDT.
  3. Activations are capped at 5000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEDT (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.
  5. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of the associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies to the transaction.
  7. Gift card purchases through the Gift Card Page are available only via desktop or mobile browsers. They are not available via the Cashrewards App.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.

        Prime membership is worth it just for the streaming service alone though (for me anyways). Free delivery on top of that is great if you ever buy groceries and things or are getting notifications for that amazon warehouse thread.

      yea same mindset as you. i used to get them but tracking the gift cards and cashback etc (esp ebay gift cards, across my 2 ebay+ accounts) made it not worth it.

      also I feel gift cards suck you into spending more - since you already have (10% discounted!) credit on the account.

      However credit to TA/CR/SB for these deals, quite regularly, add up I guess. Also CR/SB deals are usually the best deals across these shopping events.

      Hi Adelv. You don't need to link a card to Cashrewards to purchase gift cards, only to the True Rewards platform. However, to unlink your card is easy once you've completed your purchase. Just follow these steps:

      1. Go to payment for another (different) gift card.
      2. Go to checkout - you'll see your card details just before hitting pay.
      3. Click the bin icon and it will be removed.

        Hi TA, I have unlinked my ANZ credit card in Cashrewards and deleted the old card when I checked out at True Rewards but every time I linked a new Coles prepaid Visa card I still received the code from ANZ card and charged from ANZ. Today the same thing happened. Do you know why? Thanks.

    Tried to purchase a amazon gift card through the CR website, hit a snag when paying with card saying that the CVV code entered is wrong despite it's correctly entered. Tried multiple time to no avail, therefore I cancelled out of the purchase. However the amount of the gift card has been charged on my bank account… Now the $3 bonus is showing up but no sign of the gift card. What the heck is going on here?

    I haven't used my cash reward account for a while, and I'm asked to link my card this time. When I was doing that, I was deducted $1 from my account to get the comfirmation code. I thought that was the normal process. However now the order is completed, I still not be refunded that $1.

      A good value deal that turns out to be 11% discount on gift card that rarely attract that much of a discount (i.e. Amazon). Think about the Amazon GC deal at Aldi where there were hoards of people buying @ 10% off - same principle.
