Samsung 75" QN90B 4K Neo QLED Smart TV 2022 $2556 (Call to Apply 20% off Discount) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

ATV20

Original Coupon DealI reckon it is not a duplicate until they fix the code in the website.

The code didn't work on the website, so I called TGG on 1300 942 765 and the sales person applied the discount and I paid only with a special link. Highly recommend to pay the $55 for delivery.

Lots of other models on sale, but I picked this one in particular because it is the best 75-inch upper mid range TV according to rtings. The contender was the LG C2 77" but at this price, the Samsung is a no-brainer unless you really want OLED.

Description from TGG page:
The inventors of QLED technology take home television viewing to exciting new heights with the QN90B series Samsung 4K TVs. Revolutionary Quantum Matrix Technology in the Samsung 75-inch QN90B 4K Neo QLED Smart TV QA75QN90BAWXXY features Samsung's proprietary Mini LEDs to deliver incredibly deep blacks and brilliant brightness for lifelike contrasts and next level detail, along with quantum dots for out of this world colour and stunning audio to match. Any seat in the room is just as immersive with the Wide Viewing Angle on Samsung Neo QLED TVs 55-inch and above. Plus, the NeoSlim Design takes your favourite TV show edge-to-edge without any bulky bezel getting in the way, while a built-in cable management system keeps your focus purely on-screen by eliminating distractions.

  • Recently got from samsung for similar price. Good tv however most annoying thing is the crappy remote.

    • Haven't used a universal remote myself, but might be worth in your situation if that's your only peeve with the unit.

    • +2

I have another Samsung TV so I got used to the crappy remote, but yeah… not good.

By far the most annoying thing on Samsung (and others) are the ads, and the only way to block them is to add their domain names to your internet router block list.

      • +4

Disconnect your tv from all internet and use Apple TV or Google TV as your media box

        • I use Google Chromecast TV and stream live TV, so never user Samsung app or their live TV, just wondering even their live TV have ads?

          • @superforever: Live TV (Free2Air Digital) shows ads when you bring up the 'Home' menu (bottom left corner)

Google Chromecast TV is full of ads too, we just don't really notice it because they are better engineered based on all the data google collects from us.

    • I got a Samsung replica remote a while ago from Amazon.
      https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08VDHWTMZ/

TV worked with both remotes at the same time.

  • I'd get a 65" OLED for the same price personally. Looking at all the non OLED panels in store last week while shopping for a G2 confirmed that they are unrivalled.

    • 100%

    • are you telling me that size doesn't matter? hmmm… /s

      • +1

I would get 75" over 65" OLED for the same price.

If you want larger but don't want to pay that much like OLED, this one is good.

        • Horses for courses. I looked at this exact tv and literally turned my nose up at the picture quality after shopping around for OLEDs. Though I would always pick quality over size. I get that this isn't the same for everyone.

    • +1

QLED is only better is if the TV's in a sunny room

  • +2

    Where da OLED dealzzzzzz????

    • There was one yesterday or day before from Appliance Central but it was Sydney only

  • +1

Can get the 65" for $1,679.44 from Samsung using 30% off loyalty code (valid for NEO QLED), 75" would come down to $2,239.44 (not sure when they will have any stock though).

Personally would steer clear and instead get a smaller sized C2 or G2.

    • +1

This is a phenomenal deal since it is back in stock https://www.samsung.com/au/tvs/qled-tv/qn90b-65-inch-neo-qle…

      From recent experience:

      • Loyalty code are valid for use for 30 days
      • 30% discount applies to specific Neo-QLED and The Frame models
      • In-stock TV deliveries take approximately three to four business days for metro areas
      • purchased the qn800b 65" recently and 15 days later still no delivery or estimate (was given a delivery date scheduled for 5 business days after purchase originally)

    • Am speaking to samsung the now and they say only 15% off codes.

      • Hi, ladcake. If you own an old Samsung TV and want to purchase the QN90B TV through our official Samsung online store (https://www.samsung.com/au/), we can help with a 15% off voucher.

For us to process the voucher code, we only require a photo of the compliance plate of your old Samsung TV. The compliance plate is the product label that has the model and serial numbers.

        • +1

Last time I asked them some tech question about my existing Samsung TV and they asked me if I want the voucher.

          • +1

@superforever: Sprted. You ask to be put through ti service team on the online chat. They can then provide the 30% code. Got mine by email already

            • @tpenthouse: I don't think they asked me the serial number just the model number.

            • @tpenthouse: Can you elaborate a bit more the process you went through to get the 30% code?

              • @hvbarg: Did web chat and that customer team only able to apply 15% codes. I asked about other teams and they passed me over to service team and i asked there. Said i had loads of samsung products and they generated code and emailed to me

                • @tpenthouse: awesome… I will pull the same string for my next Samsung buy!

  • +1

Anyone has come across good deals on Samsung soundbar q990b or q930b? I hear they are on clearance as well. But still clearly not impressive price to pull trigger.

  • +2

I don't think the bang for buck is much better than this to be honest, it's quite high quality.

    • Agreed, the black level is very good, of course not as good as OLED but very close.

And this is brighter than OLED, if anybody don't want to pay that much for 77" OLED, this is a good deal.
