I get it that it's only $47, but dayum, those are some cheapass looking tools. 3M tape? Oh, 3m tape!

These sets are all garbage, may as well go with a cheaper option https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-75-piece-carry-case-t…

At least when something breaks you can easily return the set to Bunnings

Just buy a good quality screw driver set, some pliers, a wrench and some duct tape.

I've got a ban on those vacuum molded boxes. They are the worst!

They forgot to add the arbitrary 500 pack 5cm zip ties to pump the ‘tool’ count up lmao

    • Yeah. Was expecting the zip tie count. Disappointed.

They must have had a big order for zip ties in Xinjiang

don't recommend a vac moulded case for something like this as when the tools break you won't be able to replace. We have purchased about 4 of these https://www.bunnings.com.au/supatool-105-piece-tool-bag-kit_… for family. Everytime i was over there i would get asked to fixed a small thing which was a pain in the arse with 3 imperial spanners and a flat head screw driver. So far after a number of years of incredibly light use they have held up with only a couple of items getting replaced.

And ozbargainers will be happy to know it does include the 12 zip ties in the piece count as is legally required.

    • agreed - got one of these for the car and it works fine on the very few occasions I have to use it

  • Don't waste your money.

Buy a good quality screwdriver with bits and a decent pair of pliers. 90% of repair stuff around the home will require these two items. Then anything else just pick up the items as needed and buy the cheapest one you can get (that isn't going to break first use). If you find yourself using that particular tool often, or to the point you need to replace it again - buy a high quality replacement.
