Seems like a good deal for a decent looking dress watch.

Citizen Eco-Drive Mens Watch AW0100-86A.

A modern timepiece that displays classic aesthetic appeal. The looks of the AW0100-86A are equally matched by its reliability. A smooth silver/white sleek dial and stainless steel bracelet. Features include Day/ Date, and low charge indicator. Powered by Citizen Eco drive so it never needs a battery, only a light source.

Featuring the Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre J800, the Solar Power model AW0100-86A has a 40mm stainless steel case with mineral crystal glass and a stainless steel bracelet. This model has a 30m water resistance rating and features a day and date function.

Citizen AW0100-86A uses the Cititzen Eco-Drive solar power calibre J800.

What we love: The dial is stunning with the silver tone hands and markers. The sporty styling of the watch. A very unique look that looks much better than the images show.

Does someone have a contact within Citizen?
If we can't get this sorted out, we may as well not have watch posts.

@O15: Lol it's a Citizen Eco=Drive for $159 with a 5 year warranty from the best watch store in Australia.

@WatchNerd: I really like the look of this watch. Just trying to find reasons not to buy.

@Scrooge McDeal: If you want a dressy watch, like the look of this one and you're shopping in this price range, I say go for it.

However, if you already have several watches and this would just be an impulse buy because it's cheap, I say hold onto your money.
I think you will appreciate your collection more if you purchase fewer, more meaningful watches.
Something which is especially true for watch collections: quality over quantity

@O15: What about the Synoke, that's pretty dressy (nerd dressy).

                  • @WatchNerd: Oh my, just when I thought Watches and Wonders had some amazing pieces.

Surely this is like asking if a G-Shock is good? If you like the way it looks, then it's good.

I have this watch with a leather strap Citizen Eco-Drive AW0100-19A. Overall a lightweight, good looking, cheap eco-drive.

I can't tell if the watch looks really good or you're just a really good photographer…

      • But I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time.

    • Looks great! Is it a standard 20 mm lug width?

      • +1

    • Just watched a video on this model, looks great! Closest video I could find to OP's model.

  • if the dial is color gold, this will be perfect

    Thanks OP. Bought one.
I check the deals daily but they hadn't updated it from the previous Bulova when I last checked, so I would have missed this one.

  • Quite classy, I like it.

  • Thanks op. Got one

I like it. The colour is good, and the bracelet has just a little more bling than a standard one.

My watch budget recently is blown sadly otherwise this would make a nice addition.

this one is very similar with date and day and Numbered hours for $20 less

  • There's some other Citizen watches around the $200 price range that are a good deal if you like the look of them. 2 are autos with exhibition caseback for $199 if you don't mind a bit of gold.

  • just checking if this suits small wrist? thnx

    • +1

Diameter is 40mm dude, what size is your wrist?

    • +2

Depends how small you're talking. It's on the smaller side if you compare it to many other watches, being a 40mm case (the round part). The lugs (the bits that stick out of the case and what the bracelet connects to) don't look overly long either.

Being a dress type watch, it doesn't look as bulky as divers or sports type watch, so it should look a little smaller om the wrist.
I have smaller wrists, around 7.5 inches and it should be fine for me.

If you don't have one of those tailor measuring tapes, use a ruler and see how big the top part of your wrist is. Measure out 40mm and see where the case sits, and add a little bit for the lugs either side.

I'm by no means an expert, but I hope that helps somewhat.

Depends just how small your wrist is. At 40mm, this is not a large watch however, it could still be a bit large if you have very tiny wrists.
If your wrist circumference is ~6.5"+, I'd say you'll be fine.

    • thanks guys, I wasn't sure cuz I never own a clasp type watch however this looks so nice thanks just wasn't sure if it will be loose on the wrist.. 40mm diameter is definitely fine

      • +1

You can change the length of the bracelets. If you look on the side of the bracelet in thr photo, there's little holes. You can use a tiny screwdriver or something of the like and pop the pin out. You can add and remove links that way.
Also, the clasp has minor adjustment holes as well.
Easy enough to do, but can be daunting if you've never done it before as some require a decent bump to pop the pin.
Or you can take it to a jeweller and they will do it for you. Shouldn't cost too much as its quick and easy for them.

Thanks OP - got 1. Have been looking for ages and lurking all the watch posts on OZB to find the right one. Have been hampered in choice by smaller wrists - the 44mms are just on the too chunky size for me, This one looks just the right size for me and it's simple and elegant.

Cheers - and thanks to all that take the time to post on these deals, the input is appreciated
