After seeing the S23 Ultra 256GB last week go for $1199 on Amazon, this looks like a terrible price.

    • wow, very good pricing~~!!

    • +1

      Hope that deal comes back

Are you sure that it wasn't just a temporary pricing error?. It sounds too low in price not to be.

      • Nope, the s23 128GB was $749 and I got that and safe to say it wasn't an error. All the others seem to have received theirs as well reading the previous post.

      • +1

You may have missed it because it was an incredibly short lived deal. I marked it as expired within a few hours of it being posted, but the base models were pretty much sold out in the first hour.

        • I see. It would be incredibly lucky if you see that deal again.

no mistake , my s23 ultra delivered 2 days later for $1199

        • how are you finding the battery life and camera?

have moved to an oppo find x2 pro from the last ozb sale on this one or two years back and am not sure i can leave faster charging now to go back to a normal charging speed haha. But i do hear the 23 ultra's battery life is finally up there with other competition, and that the camerais pretty deceent?

pity that getting 512gb costs an arm and a leg with no external sd cards accepted these days.

          • +1

@SaberX: I got the 512GB for 1499 from the same deal as mentioned above.

Last years model for this years price makes it pretty bad.

No deal, can still trade in now to get the s23 ultra & get $500 trade in off, $100 iPhone voucher, 10% code & $50 newsletter, plus all the recent deals etc..

    • What is a iPhone voucher and how to get 10 off code … I’m missing so much , just about to use edu store plus trade in to buy a s23u

      • +2

Go on Samsung chat say you want to upgrade your iPhone to the s22/23 ultra, they’ll ask for pic of your imei from iPhone n send you a voucher, some don’t ask for it, 10% email loyalty@samsung say you want to upgrade to the s23 ultra, leave your phone number, they’ll call or just send you 10% off code

My last few samsungs got really laggy after a year of use. The software just isn't that great.

    • what models?

    • I have the s21 ultra and it's still running smooth as.

Google is an ad company, beware!

    • Errrrr…?

      • 80% of profits are from showing ads to people. Not one I'd trust my data with.

        • Yeah go with a pixel, google would never do tha……oh wait.

  • +2

    I misread it as s23:(

  • +1

A significant gap between 8G1 and 8G2, especially in power efficiency.

This is the Aussie Version of the s22 ultra which has a crappy Exynos chip in it..don't waste your money on this, buy the s23 ultra for the extra bit of cash.

    • nah Aussie and every country that's not in Europe has the snapdragon

      • is t hat a change for s22 line and s23? I thought in the past there was only snap dragon overseas and we got the crummy Exynos always? Or has ultra lines always had it ove rthe normal and + range?

        • Yeah starting S22 Australia got Snapdragon.

  • +1

I think $999 is a fair price for this since the S23 Ultra was $1199 recently (No clue why they dropped so quick)

    • Yeah , just for you !

    • +1

And the $1199 was for 256Gb and this is only 128Gb for an older model now.

    • Going rate 2nd hand for a s22U 256 is around a grand.

  • +1

they probably have tons left in stock, because i dont think many people want Pro and 128GB together

  • +1

I wouldn't pay this price for S22U, there were plenty of other deals for this phone that were better.

I traded in S8 + $1200 for S23U 256gb + galaxy buds pro on launch at samsung edu store. Official store was around 1400 at the time for same deal
