    Nice description OP 😂 11/10

  • +1

    when exactly?

    • +1

      9am I think

  • +17

    A couple of points:

    • A number of participating retailers were added to the Ultimate Everyone gift card late last week as part of a mild makeover: Crust, Donut King, Gloria Jean's, Goldmark, Hoyts, INTERSPORT, Ovolo Hotels and UFC Fight Pass.

    • Please do not go overboard and add multiple Ultimate gift cards to the same mobile wallet in a short period of time, otherwise you run the risk of having your mobile wallet suspended. I mention this, because the only way you can redeem Ultimate eGift Cards (such as the ones in this deal) in person at a participating retailer is via a mobile wallet.1

    1. You could actually redeem Ultimate eGift Cards in person via MOTO, but good luck finding a participating retailer willing to process payments via MOTO.

  • My favourite GC but I prefer $500 or $1000 in one GC…

    • -1

      $1000 doesn't exist

      • +1

No you can buy $1000 GC with 3% CB.

  • +1

Can you use these cards to add credit at Timezone just like you can with original Timezone gift cards?

Specifically, when there's a bonus credit promo I'd like to know if these can be used to pay for credits eg the buy $100 get $100 deals that come up. I've done this before when Timezone offer 20% off their gift cards. Essentially double discount.

    • +2

Yes, even they do split payment, but you have do it in a physical store, cannot do it via the app

ps. That’s the only time I top up, use discounted gift card with double credit offer

      • Excellent thanks

    • Only way to buy credits at timezone lol

      • 20% off TZ gift cards at Costco (if they're available). This is Costco's normal price.
Buy these and then wait until double credits.

  • Can you use Webjet Gift cards to book flights?

    • Yes you can.

  • Is there a limit to how many gift cards this works on?

  • Can you use this gift card for online payments?

    • +5

You can directly use Ultimate Everyone gift cards online at some participating retailers. Have a look at the link in OP’s table and then select Online to see which participating retailers directly accept them online.

There are some participating retailers (e.g. Anaconda) that do not directly accept them online, but you can go through the Ultimate gift card exchange facility and exchange part or all of your Ultimate Everyone gift card’s balance for a retailer-specific digital gift card (e.g. Anaconda gift card). Again, have a look at the link in OP’s table and then select Exchange for eGift, but keep in mind that some retailer-specific digital gift cards may not be redeemable on the participating retailer’s online store… or they may be redemptions limits. It’s best to check with the terms and conditions of the retailer-specific digital gift card before you commit to any exchange.

I will warn you that you may run into issues actually directly redeeming an Ultimate gift card on a participating retailer’s website, even though it says on the Ultimate gift card website it is directly redeemable on the retailer’s website. It is unfortunately a flaw in the implementation of the Ultimate gift cards, because Ultimate gift cards are prepaid Visa gift cards that are not linked to a person whose identity has been verified before the gift card was issued, which means that an overzealous payment processor or risk management tool may flag a transaction being paid with an Ultimate gift card, even if the participating retailer asked them to whitelist Ultimate gift cards. Additionally, if a participating retailer changed their online payment process and forgot to tell the Ultimate gift card scheme of this change, Ultimate gift cards may no longer work directly online for that participating retailer.

      I think I went down a bit of a rabbit hole there…

      • How would you use this for menulog? Do you just key in the code at checkout or go through mobile wallet?

        • You should be able to use it by punching in the card details directly or via a supported mobile wallet (e.g. Apple Pay). If you go with the latter, you would need to add the Ultimate Everyone gift card to your mobile wallet first before attempting payment in the Menulog app.

  • If I buy the $1000 gift card, am I able to add it to my mobile wallet?

    • Yes, you can, but you can only buy 2 each for this deal.

  • Need $500/$1000

  • Does anyone know if we could exchange this for jb egift card on their website

    • Did this last year but couldn’t find it in the last round, keen to know how-to (or if still possible) as well.

    • +1

No, I just tried. See here.

  • Can we use multiple cards online at JB?

    • +4

You can redeem a maximum of 1x Ultimate gift card in one transaction on the JB Hi-Fi website.

You can redeem an unlimited number of JB Hi-Fi gift cards in one transaction on the JB Hi-Fi website.

Have a look at this FAQ for more information and potential workarounds.

  • Is this for Westpac lounge? Or will any card work?

  • It's 9am and still showing 3% on the app for everyone U-GC

  • can I use the coles $250 card to buy these?

    • +1

yes but add too many different cards or too frequent then it might not work

      • Yep had this issue- added 5x vanilla $100 gift cards over the past 2 weeks and after that Shopback wouldn't let me add any more.

        • yeah too many too soon would do it

maybe 1 or 2 a week would be ok

  • Can I use this office works online for delivery ?

    • Officially, yes, because Officeworks is listed on the Ultimate Everyone gift card page as accepting them on their website… although you can only redeem 1x Ultimate Everyone gift card in one online transaction.

In reality, you may find that Officeworks’ payment processor will not accept an Ultimate Everyone gift card as a payment method on the Officeworks website, so you have been warned…

  • How many max can we purchase to qualify 10% cb ?

  • Max $300/account, was going to get PB at OW for https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0BDHR5R7K/ref=ox_sc_ac…

  • still show up as 3% cb on my end after 100x refresh of the page

    • +2

      its on

      • yep can see it now after 2 mins of your message.

  • Go to Gift Cards & Vouchers and it's under the "Special offers" banner.

  • It’s live now guys

  • how many we can buy?

    • Two each.

      • Is that two per account or two $100 and two $50?
Edit: Nvm just realised it’s the latter

        • +1

          2x $100 and 2x $50 per account.

  • +1

Looks like one for each denomination, so I bought one of each. It's in its own card "tile?" not the 3% one.
    Tracked immediately, thanks OP.

EDIT: What I meant by "tile" was that when I searched for ultimate gift, it appeared as two entries, one with the regular 3% the other was the 10% OP listed. The quicker way to navigate to it is: Gift Cards => Promos (Default is on Recommended).

    • +4

Also, inb4 anyone comments having trouble using the card.

This Ultimate gift card platform is notorious for being difficult to use, have a look at past ultimate gift card promotion's comment section, so choose the lesser evil whether 10% cb is worth all the trouble.

I have had all sort of issues with them (and counting):
      1. Cannot use their android app to link the card, BUT adding to google wallet manually worked.
      2. Could not swap/exchange gift card, card not registered, needed to wait for their support to sort it out.
      3. Online purchase using the card just doesn't work, even below the balance. H&M when it was available, TimeZone via the app, Officeworks, the only one that worked with JB Hi-Fi. And when I reached out about TimeZone they said it was a fault with the TimeZone system ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

      • Ahh yes, thank you.
I can't read it seems, lol idk, "Deal limited to 1 purchase"
Bought one more of each, much appreciated.

  • Can this be changed to Amazon, Cole or Woolies?

    • -2

Woolies no but Amazon and Coles yes if you know the right moves

      • +2

        Share the link :D

        • How?? Would like to be able to use for Amazon or coles

        • -1

          there's no link

      • Please share your moves :) Would love to use this for Coles

        • +2

Try to buy Coles Myer giftcard @ Officeworks via digital wallet as the attendant can't see what card you are using.

  • Hey all, is it possible to stack 4 of the 100dollar gift card in one order for officeworks

      • Instore: the checkout will let you do that, but whether staff will let you do that is a different question. I find they usually do, but you may get a staff member randomly tell you no for no real reason.

      • Online: no. You can only redeem 1x Visa card on the Officeworks online checkout.

      • Over the phone via 1300 OFFICE: I am not actually sure, but I doubt it.

Have a look at this FAQ for more information.

  • +1

Thanks! Great timing for my Officeworks purchase.

  • +2

very confusing - how to use it at officeworks?

      • Instore: you need to add the Ultimate Everyone eGift Card to a supported mobile wallet first (Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet). When you are at the store, you need to tell the staff the exact amount you want to redeem from the card (assuming that the amount owed in the transaction is bigger than the Ultimate Everyone eGift Card’s available balance) and the fact that you want to use a Card (not a Gift Card) as a payment method, select the card on your mobile wallet, authenticate the use of the card (if needed), then tap your device against the NFC reader on the EFTPOS terminal (which is above the EFTPOS terminal screen).

      • Online: you need to enter the card details (the cardholder name you provided upon registering the eGift Card, card number, expiry date and CVV2) into the credit/debit card section of the online checkout. Officeworks will only let you use 1x Visa card in one online transaction.

      • Over the phone via 1300 OFFICE: when you are asked for the card details, provide the operator the cardholder name you provided upon registering the eGift Card, card number, expiry date and CVV2. I think you can only redeem 1x Visa card in one over-the-phone transaction, but don’t quote me on that…

Have a look at this FAQ for more information.

  • how to add card to wallet?

    • +1

You manually add it to Apple Pay / Google Wallet / Samsung Wallet the same way you would add a credit/debit card. In other words, you would need to add it as a new payment card.

    • There is an option to add a card to mobile wallet after you logged in to My Prepaid Center.

      • +1

it says it doesn't support the latest android. it's for an older version

        • IIRC, that function has been broken for a number of months.

The only way I have been able to add Ultimate gift cards to a mobile wallet is manually by punching in the cardholder name, card number, expiry date, CVV2 on the manual add form on the mobile wallet app.

          • @WookieMonster: That works for me. All I had to do was email myprepaid and ask them to solve this issue for me. Since then, I have been able to add the card from the link they send me.

        • you have to install app My Prepaid Center first and register your Ultimate gift card in your mobile browser, then you can add the card to your mobile wallet. NFC needs to be turn on.

  • It keeps giving me error on my android wallet when trying to add a card. not sure if it's right to put my own address

  • Can someone tell me how to use this card at JB HI FI online? I tried to pay at checkout but it says the gift card numbers need to be 18 digits and the ultimate everyone card is only 16….. what steps I have missed?

    • Would also like to know. Want to preorder Zelda without going in store.

    • +2

The Ultimate Everyone gift cards in this deal are functionally prepaid Visa gift cards, so you need to redeem it like any other Visa card on the JB Hi-Fi website.

In other words, enter the cardholder name (the one you used to register the eGift Card), card number, expiry date and CVV2 in the Credit/Debit Card section of the online checkout. You can find the card number, expiry date and CVV2 on the MyPrepaidCentre website after you register the eGift Card and add it to your MyPrepaidCentre account.

      • +1

        thanks, you are right

just found out in their website, so i should use it as a normal credit card, i was using it as a gift card so that's why it won't work.. it all makes sense now, :)

      • How does this work if you have a $50 gift card and the total is more than $50

        • It doesn't
You need to first get the total cart oweing under or at $50 by other means, like using a JB Hi-Fi gift card.

        • +1

As mentioned earlier, the issue is that you can only redeem 1x Visa card in one JB Hi-Fi online transaction, but you can redeem an unlimited number of JB Hi-Fi gift cards in one JB Hi-Fi online transaction, so you have limited options:

          • Pay in store, where you can do split payments between multiple cards easily. (I see you would prefer to not go instore though.)

          • “Convert” your Ultimate Everyone gift card into a JB Hi-Fi gift card. You can try to purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card online on the JB Hi-Fi website using an Ultimate gift card as the payment method. However, the JB Hi-Fi website is likely to either reject the Ultimate gift card, or accept the Ultimate gift card and then cancel the order later. You may have more luck if you add the Ultimate gift card to Apple Pay, then log into the JB Hi-Fi website on an Apple device and use Apple Pay as the payment method at checkout, ensuring you select the Ultimate gift card as the payment source.

          • Purchase a JB Hi-Fi gift card from somewhere else (e.g. Prezzee, Shopback, Reward Gateway, the JB Hi-Fi website itself, Coles, Woolworths) to the value of the difference between your order and the Ultimate Everyone gift card available balance, then use the JB Hi-Fi gift card and the Ultimate Everyone gift card to pay for your online order. The JB Hi-Fi gift card will be redeemed first, so keep that in mind.

Have a look at this FAQ for more information.

  • Is shopback app really slow for other people too?

  • FYI I bought 2 x $100 JB-Hifi Gift cards online and it went through but I tried to get the $50 ones too and they were cancelled because it failed their verification process.

    • +1

I am hardly surprised about that, because multiple transactions using different cards from the same device in a short period of time is a classic indication of fraudulent transaction, so my guess is that Riskified - JB Hi-Fi's third-party risk management tool for reviewing transactions - flagged your third transaction.

My suggestion is that you try again tomorrow.

      • +1

Good tip, it went through successfully today. Thanks Wookie.

  • is the limit 1x50 and 1x100 per SB account?

    • Seems like it. I couldn't buy anymore than one each.

  • Hi all,
Will the 10% cashback still work if I purchase it as a gift for someone?
    Thank you!

  • +2

Looks like the $100 gift card has sold out.

  • Anyone keep getting

"Your eGift could not be retrieved at this time. Please try again later."
