Happy Easter and Pesach folks.
V11 is currently $799 including the following bonuses at TGG:

Looks like TGG cottoned on and jacked the price- you can still purchase with the bonus tools for $894 if keen, but not quite as good as it was yesterday. If anyone has a physical catalogue with the $799 advertised price, please share it for OzB users’ benefit- cheers

  • 971445-01 grab and go dok (RRP $149)
  • 971447-04 Click in battery & charger (RRP $199).

Also lists bonus complete cleaning kit (RRP $89) but doesn’t show as in stock anywhere so not highlighting in deal.

Not bad considering you’re getting the V11 for V8’s RRP PLUS $348 in extra tools.

Thanks. Good Guys Joondalup price matched based on your receipt.

          • @jasonc74: I rang a few stores including Frankston and won’t price match that!

          • @jasonc74: Woohoo! Awesome.

            • +1

@Elbee: I rang a few stores and the lowest was $860. One store said they couldn't discount at all. Joondalup told me $840 but originally didn't know a thing about the bonus. When I went in I tried my luck and asked if they could match the $799 and they did.

            • +1

@Elbee: @Elbee Also got $799 matched with your receipt. Thank you

    • Yeah can you upload a receipt?

      • Sorry newbie. Can't see how i do that? Happy to, once I know.

        • +1

Just upload to imgur and link us probably easiest.

        • +1

          Thanks for that.
I doubt GG stores would match each other though.

Edit: noted the complete clean kit included as well! Even better than yesterday’s deal!

          • @mrgeckoz: Yeah, went to Fountaingate (VIC), they said no accessories stock so they wouldn't do it. Called Frankston store, they wouldn't do it either. The lady said several already called before me, fee sorry for her.

            • +1

@hanofee: Went to Artarmon NSW, accesories weren't in stock but they put it on back order and will call me when ready to collect.

              • @errorius: May I know what price did u get? I think they’re just not interested to sell at lower price to give that excuse to begin with

                • +1

                  @hanofee: Paid $897

                  • +1

@errorius: same here , Caringbah NSW, cleaning kit backordered, got the rest, very happy with it

  • Dyson have it for $899 with a bynch of extra attachments and free delivery for $899

    https://www.dyson.com.au/dyson-v11-vacuum-exclusive

    Still pretty good value :)

HN also have it for $849

    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/dyson-v11-cordless-stick-vac…

For $50 extra the extra attachments from dyson are useful ones

    • Honestly I have all those extra tools from my V11 Absolute Pro+ back in the day, I wouldn't rate or buy them.

HN is a decent offer, but this at $897 with the $348 worth of bonus tools is still a better buy.

If purchased at $844 curious to see if this qualifies for the current spend $800 get $70 store cash

  • how do we get all the add-ons when ordering online? adding them to the cart and trying to check out just bills for the total amount..

    • Best to call your local store to arrange over the phone if it’s not working. They can create the invoice and send you a payment link once created

  • Finally purchased mine for $897 with dok ($149), extra battery ($199) and complete cleaning kit ($89).
Apparently bonus items only when paying $897 without price matching.
Used $200 store credit from AGL as well.

    • +1

Did the same today at Essendon. $897 is still pretty damn good considering all those extras, plus 70 dollars store credit later on. I finally used up $350 worth of credit card points for it to replace my 8+ year old V6.

      • Makes me feel much better! Haha!
I asked about the in store credit, but rep said I have to purchase a product care plan to be able to get it?

        Edit: found the link: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/storecash#faqs

        • +1

Nah you dont need the care plan, you just have to sign up for storecash beforehand, which is free, and when you make the purchase its linked to your mobile number. They told me it takes 2 days to go through. You can just add the storecash app to google wallet or whatever and it should show the credit when it goes through to use later on.

          • @whybrow: I will ring the store tomorrow see what they can do. Might have to reverse the transaction and do it again.

      • Did you get the 70 store credit today? or do we need to wait for the next one (27 Apr - they only pay on the 13th & 27th this month)?

        • I haven’t received so far.

          • @mrgeckoz: i havent received either, but i still need to pickup my accessory kit as it was ordered in, so i dont think it goes through untill i collect everything according to there T&Cs.

            • @whybrow: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/storecash

see "GET READY FOR PAY DAY” and click on "click here to learn more" and shows:
Every second and fourth Thursday* of every month!
              * Includes all purchases completed/delivered by the Wednesday the week prior to StoreCash Pay Day.

Based on the description, I completed my order on 9th, so my pay day would be 27th.

        • Store credit arrived today!

          • @GregFiona: How do u get the credit? is it updating the Store Cash in our Apple/GooglePay Wallet?

            • @hanofee: I haven't received either.

            • @hanofee: I signed up for the Store Cash the day before the purchase, I went to the shop and the guy who
served me said I only have to provide my phone number for the credit to be registered.
              The email I received was:

Thank you for your recent purchase at The Good Guys – you’ve earned StoreCash!

This reward has now been added to your StoreCash Digital Wallet. You can also find a duplicate StoreCash amount below with your StoreCash barcode!

Just remember, whether it's through your mobile's digital wallet or through email, your earned StoreCash can only be redeemed once – in one transaction.

              • +1

@GregFiona: Thanks. Got mine today, but expiry is 30/4/23 :(

  • I rang TGG Frankston on Sunday and asked if they can extend the deal for me and they agreed! Picked them up yesterday. Thanks!

  • Anyone else having issues redeeming all the bonus items. The GG store i picked up from refused to provide all 3 bonuses and asked me to only pick one, even after showing the website and the T&C which clearly states all 3 items.

    • the T&C which clearly states all 3 items only valid when you pay $897

  • I'm always late to the party.

Any way to still get this?

    • I think the $897 bundle is still valid until 19/4, but whether u can get better price or not, that'd depend on the staff when negotiating

      • +1

The offer is still on for the bonus items, it’s just gone up in price sadly. Still a decent offer but just not quite as killer as it was

        • What's the difference for the 3rd bonus btw? it's said to be (I took the "QR" version as my store only had that one):
Handstick Complete Cleaning Kit (971442-01) OR Handstick QR Complete Cleaning Kit (968335-01)

          • @hanofee: Curious of this also, as the item numbers are different but the kits look identical.

            • +1

@whybrow: the person I spole with on the phone said one of them has a quick release attachment, the other is just standard….but all the same connector fittings.

I've got no idea what that meant.

          • @hanofee: They’re identical, one is just an updated sku. QR like ibis noted means quick release.

  • Got the V11 + the 3 accessories for $880 yesterday at TGG Osborne Park (WA)
