So, what were the things you could also benefit from by having these extra phone numbers? I already signed to multiple jbhifi perks accounts with each new SIM to get the$10 voucher, and I'm also using the $1 for 10 stickers at stickermule. Any other ideas?

Menulog and UberEATS new user deals. Guzman y Gomez free burrito?

      Liven $10, promo code 10LIVEN

      • Better to do the right thing and use an OzBargain referral!

        • That doesn’t work for same phone new account. You must use liven’s own promo code for new phone number to get $10

Refer to register Doordash, both get $45

      • It just gets worse lately. New account used only once and the other 2 chances just disappeared. Now seems that I have to go thru live chat and provide screenshot for them to give me this promotion LOL.

  • How long do these deals normally stay active? Need a new data sim in 6weeks.

    • +5

Do a search and you'll see they occur every few days, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Also remember that cashback is contingent on activation of Sim within 30 days of ordering.

  • If I was to order 2 SIMs and port my number to activate one SIM, would I be able to use that number again when activating the second and still get cashback? I assume I'd need to ask them to do it for me, has anyone else done this?

    • Yalk to then over chat. Explain you want to activate the new SIM and port your old number to this new one. That should count as activating the new SIM as a new service.

      • Wonderful, I'll give it a go! Thank you!

      • Do you know if this works with the 12 month recharges? My mum has a current 12 month with ~90 days left on it but she's almost run out of data. I was thinking of buying her a 140GB 12 month for $180 (on sale atm) then asking Boost chat to apply it. I could just say "someone gave it to me as a gift" or something.

If it doesn't work then I guess I can port her out to a $2 Optus SIM and back in again, but she's away travelling in rural Aus atm so would prefer to just sort it all out from here.

        • Yes, I've done this in the past for 12 month prepaid Sims. Told them i bought them by mistake thinking they were recharge and the just did the change. It took like 15 minutes

I finally got an order through after trying for the last 3 deals.

    • Same for me

      • +1

Same but when making second order ran into same problem again

  • any deals on the 12 month plans? i know it's down to $180 from $200 atm, and i can't suffer telstra pre paid anymore

ideally hoping for something like $10-12 month

    • Coles Mobile (Optus) 12 Months 120GB Prepaid Starter Pack for $119.00.

Equates to $9.91 per month for 12 months.

      • thanks. i guess i meant deals from boost. i've looked into coles, amaysim, etc and would prefer staying on telstra network (optus has bad drop outs in my area)

  • I only got $12 cashback (not $14) …but still 100% cashback, so not too concerned.

    • $12 via Shopback. Did you click through the right site?

I clicked through the link above, so I think so.

          Hi @b-radicool @Neoika

Just checked and there's not been any Boost transactions today with $12 cashback, so the only explanations are that (1) you did not purchase via Cashrewards or (2) you're looking at the purchase amount rather than the cashback amount on the tracking email (or My Rewards). Cheers.

          • @tightarse: @tightarse you are right, I looked at the wrong figure. Got $14 cashback. My bad. Thanks!

how does CR know if it's activated?

    • Boost could tell them

    • Boost approves (and declines) orders accordingly - not Cashrewards.

I’m with boost for a year now. Is there any other carriers that are cheap and support esim as well. Can use my LTE watch to the full potential.

I'm wondering why they keep running these promos. I was part of a previous and similar promo which didn't track and was told I will need to activate the sim before a claim could be made with Boost. Seems kind of BS considering the activation is a condition of payment not tracking.

  • Purchased through cashrewards. Can see it in click history but has not been tracked yet.
