      No, you don't.

Reading some reviews will get rid of that issue for you

      • Seems like it's the G29 with a few extra features, so where's the issue? I don't mind paying a bit more for a better product, honestly it's probably lucky the jump up to direct drive wheels is as big as it is so I'm not looking at those……yet.

    • Eh. It is more or less the G923.

      https://simracereviews.com/reviews/logitech-g923/

Odds on you'd turn the Trueforce down anyway on the 923. It sounds as though the Logi DD wheel does this much, much better. But that wheel is astronomically expensive.

I'm doing fine with G29 as my intro to sim driving and if I decide to stick with it, will make the next step a Moza R5, Fanatic DD or logi DD (on extreme special). And then probably never upgrade again.

  • Anyone know if there's a way to use this with PS2, or PS2/any emulators on PC?

I'm pretty sure I made mine work with the PS2 emulator (it was some time ago), I certainly used this with daytona etc on PC through emulators

  • What’s the price jump from this to the newer G923 or a Better wheel in Thrustmaster or Fanatec

Just seeing this at $270ish and was wonder if it’s a lot more or not

Another thing what’s the best price ever on this G29 wheel?
