We can all retire early buying these

I pay someone to activate my Boost SIMs. Sure, I could be living even more extravagantly, but I’m spared the hassle of a few seconds of w… w… that W thing. With inflation running amok, I may have to put on an extra employee soon, plus an overseer to crack the whip on them both. And maybe an overseer to oversee the overseer. One simply can’t be too careful these days…

  • +1

    Thanks op

  • Is this the highest profit cash back we've seen for a 28-day Boost SIM?

    • +3
      • I'm not get of bed for anything less than $4 profit from Boost Mobile.

        • What if you could do it whilst in bed?

          • +4

@t25: There are better things to be doing in bed.

  • +6

still getting errors when buying :(

    • +3

Same here. Tried different email, different number. Even different machines.

      • +2

did anyone manage to buy successfully that had errors earlier when buying? if yes what was the solution?

  • +2

Tagging @Pub Envelope so you can feed your family.

    • +5

You are a saint. We will remember your good deeds for many years.

Can finally buy a 4090 with this profit

  • Says that it's $40 for your first three recharges. Any idea what it costs after that? I can't seem to find the answer on their website.

    • +2

Each to their own but I don't think many here are buying this to recharge.

      • Why are people buying this, is it only to create more accounts with KFC, GyG etc

        • +2

One month Free & $5 profit…use the $5 to buy the next monthly Sim, rinse and repeat.

        • to have mobile connectivity between my multiple phones not just for free, but i make a profit as well. those other freebies are a bonus.

        • For internet instead of NBN. Read this, and a few messages after it: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/13545166/redir

  • What if we don’t activate sim in 30days ?

  • looking to get a 365 day one? any cashback on that? what are the best options for it?

    • +2

I recently got the $200 SIM for $180 + $20 cash back via Cheddar.

      • Same but does cheddar shows $20? For me it shows $0

        • It was a time limited deal.

          • @sween64: Yup, I did buy during that $20 promo. Your showing $20 in cashback tracking ?

            • @shibbu: Yep, says $20 pending under more info in the app.

    • +1

Boost stays active for 7 months (1 month standard +6 month validity) so 7 months in total, the rest 5 are not really worth recharging now IMO LoL.

I am here talking for OTPs and incoming only

  • Check your cashback, mine from $13.75 last time after the track change to $6

    • Which cashback deal are you referring to? I have cashback of $13.75 pending for a sim I bought on 14th March for $9.

  • The fruit of patience is sweet, kept ignoring the deals of previous few deals.

  • After asking whether Boost sims would work in a moto g82 (and getting mixed responses), it did not work in mine. Could not access internet at all, could barely receive text messages. As I needed the data (and to keep the number) urgently, I just bought a $10 amaysim sim that was on sale and ported out. Luckily it worked just enough to receive the porting text.

    • I had to set up the APN

      • @AH Had a similar experience with a Nokia phone and Telstra. Had to change the default APN and every time there is an update

  • Every time this comes up, I think to myself 'Gotta set up Selenium for it this time' and proceeds to not do that. Life is so hard.

  • Is there something similar with other than boost? My boost yearly prepaid is about to expire.

  • Are you eligible if you have already done one of these Boost Mobile Cashback deals in the past?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +1

      Yes

    • Too easy. Thanks :)

  • Are current customers eligible for this? Or is it new customers only.

    • +1

      Current customers are

Does anyone know if you can port from one Boost SIM to another Boost SIM or do you need to port out to another provider first?

    • Username doesn't checkout buddy

  • Cannot active something went wrong. What to do?

    • Call them or try again later

  • +1

We are having technical difficulties, try again later.

At least the error message changed for me, progressing..

  • How many numbers has everyone activated so far?

    • +1

I guess there are 100 million 04xx xxx xxx numbers, so we’re going to need a lot more if I’m to be kept in the style to which I’ve become accustomed. I wear a jacket with “Sponsored by Boost Mobile” written on the back, in my small way of saying thanks…

      • +1

Also the cap "Sponsored by Boost Mobile"

    • +1

      Eight.

      And about to be nine.

    • +1

Newcomer here, going to get the third

  • +2

I have 11 boost number already

    • all of them are under one's name, right?

      • +1

Under same everything, name number I'd pn address card

  • Anyone know how they track activation on these?

Trying to figure out if I can buy it for my brother and they activate it within 30 days on a different email addy,

    • I think as long as the number is activated

    • My guess could be by SIM number (not mobile number) that linked to the CB tracking number. When the SIM activated, Boost will alert Cashback.

  • +2

    Ordered 16:59pm
    Tracked 16:59pm

Man, Cashrewards so fast, one of these days it's gonna track before I place the order.

    • +2

When that happens you will know the AI is about to launch nukes against mankind…

  • +1

Thanks OP, grabbed another. Tracked instantly which was a relief after last month's deal not tracking automatically.

  • It turns out 8 is the total number of boost activations in your name before they block you from activating any more online and you have to spend 45 mins on a chat box to get it activated.

    • When you mean activations is that activation of a sim once it has physically arrived? Worried since I need a fair few numbers to use for another deal starting soon

      • Yep lol.

You'll keep getting the error "something went wrong" 2 screens after the ID checks

        • Cheers thanks for letting me know, will definitely need to borrow a ID lol

      • -1

you can activate multiple sims once you connect with a rep. saves having to pass ID verification every time

  • +1

Thanks OP! As always, the $17 cashback tracked instantly

  • Can these be used in a Telstra Smart Modem 3?

    • Yes, need to change apn and a few other settings.

  • How long does it take to receive the sim card?

    • soon

    • about a week. they ship out the next day usually.

  • +1

Bought 2 Sims..then tried a 3rd, kept getting "Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties"…

Need couple more for the relatives coming over early May

    • +1

Having the same problem and need them for the same reason too. The profit is a nice bonus

  • I’m tempted to buy more… :s

  • +1

Thanks, bought 2, tracked in less than 2 minutes each!

  • +1

Every single time this deal comes up I get this at checkout:

We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.

So annoying. Has only ever worked clicking through Shopback instead

    • +1

could this be something to do with number of boost sim cards we my have purchased? i am getting the same error msg as well and unable to resolve….

      • I have only ever successfully purchased one through Shopback months ago, have tried probably at least 8 different occasions with cashrewards and same error. Different combination of name, phone number, address, credit cards, phone/pc.. doesn't make a difference. I'll just wait for the next Shopback promo.

      • No as I have purchase many over time (& each deal). I just purchased another and no drama's checking out. Using Firefox on PC, No VPN and no Adblocks.

  • +1

    Grabbed two, thanks! :)

  • +1

I’m getting the same error message. Just a bit worried they’ll stop selling the sims to me when I actually do need it 😅

  • was only able to buy two.

At least managed to grab though thanks

And that too so late at night when I discovered it, Thanks OP, TA, and Cashrewards, (ofcourse Boost too)

  • +1

Useless error message "Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties"

Also Boost did not let me activate more than two Boost SIMs in my life online without needing live chat.

Glad Ozbargain is wasting Boost's cash bc Boost is stupid.

    • i was told that they use telstra's system to match your details (presumably it's the address), so after 2 sims you need them to activate any future sims for you.
