  • The switch code is no longer available as it expired last March 31, 2023.

  • Thanks. I did this. I traded in an S22+ for an S23+. Got a 10% loyalty voucher. All in came to $467.10.

  • Where are people getting the loyalty voucher from ?

It's been explained a number of times in this thread if you care enough to read through! It's by emailing [email protected]

  • I can't give credit to the other Oz bargainer Evo posted this somewhere else unfortunately. The below worked for me.

Can only get 10% loyalty voucher by emailing [email protected] and ask for a loyalty discount. You also need to let them know that your trading your phone in for the voucher to work with this trade in deal. They'll ask you for your phone number and they'll give you a call to make sure you've finalised your trade in through the app. They'll then ask for your trade in code before issuing you a discount code.

    • Did they ask for the IMEI of the phone being traded in? Thanks

      • Just got off the phone with Sammy, they were after the IMEI 😬

        • Strange, requested loyalty voucher from them twice and they didn't need the IMEI in both instances. I guess it depends on the operator.

      • No although I did quote my Samsung trade ID

S23+ for 848.59 with loyalty voucher, newsletter voucher and $1 trade in.

    • How did you get the $1 trade in value? I’ve tried few combinations but ends with $25 or higher 🤔

      • I put in a S10e with cracked screen and that came to $1

  • For loyalty voucher, do I need to provide any Samsung product serial number in the email to proof?

  • Is the 10% loyalty discount taken off the full price or the after trade-in price?

    • After trade in price.
So if you are not planning to send your device, better use a device with minimum trade in vlaue, to get higher resideual payable amount, and then apply 10% loyalty voucer to get higher discount.

  • Get rip of the Huawei junk (before it literally become worthless) for $35 + $400 bonus.
    ordered the S23 256 GB Graphite $1249-$435=$814
The loyalty bonus kick in at this point, $814*0.9=732.6
    Then the newsletter $50bonus, 732.6-50=682.6.

I think I pay about the same when I get my S21 by trading in the same P30. Forget to send it in last time so I use the IMEI on second sim and it still works.

Get the Bud 2 for free and sign up for the two years Samsung care for $124.5. Total $807.1

Not bad for upgrading a 2019 phone but my wife's S22 Ultra pre order was a killer deal, 512g with all the same for 1.4K by trading in a S10🤣🤣

  • Are you guys prompted to upload photo Id as part of trade in process, is it safe to do so keeping in mind all the scams on atm?

  • I’m facing issues with processing $1 security deposit using my credit card, has anyone else faced this issue? TIA

Does the trade in page always say it is unavailable?

  • anyone else getting Sorry, "due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment"

  • The Samsung Trade-up app has got to be the worst written app I've seen. I got an error at one point and the only choice was to uninstall the app and reinstall and do it all over again. Finally got passed that only to find I do not have a valid form of Id according to them. I don't have a driver's license and my passport expired last year. I also don't have Australia Post Keypass. Where is the option for Photo Card, Medicare Card etc.? Hell I could even upload a birth certificate if it was an option.

So looks like I missed this deal. Can't get Keypass Id before Sunday as they have to mail it out.

You can just take a photo of a wall and put it as your id. Their is no AI detection

    • After posting the above, I tried again and chose Australian Driver's License and instead put details for my photo card. To do this I again had to uninstall and reinstall and go through the whole process again (what a shit app!).

So long story short I ordered S23 Ultra 512Gb in charcoal for $1385 (with $10 S8+ trade-in). I had the price at $1335.but the $50 newsletter voucher removed when I got into PayPal as others have mentioned. Quite dodgy.

      Also applied for free Buds2

  • Re the complaints about Asurion: My trade of a damaged S8 went through fairly quickly, with no problem. Asurion sent me emails about progress.
